Chapter 44

Sapphires POV
As I start to fall asleep in the car all the sounds of my surroundings fade and mush together and I find myself smiling slightly.
*About 30 minutes later*
I find my Brain scattering and jumping at the sudden notion of sound entering my ears meaning I'm waking up and when I do I find myself in Zoe's arms but I also see a bunch of "concerned" looking parents. But I find one parent looking at me with a fond smile and I hear her speak in a gentle voice telling her young son that not everyone likes the opposite gender and that's perfectly fine that just makes them special and precious. I find myself drawn to the conversation when I hear the little boy say "but my teacher says that being gay is wrong" well then I need to talk with you're a teacher I hear the lady say in a disgusted voice, if I ever find out that you make fun of someone for a stupid reason like Sexuality then I will whoop you so hard! I smile and she smiles back catching my last gaze.

My attention is brought to Zoe when she sits me down and she holds my hand as we walk into Hot topic, but as I'm about to look around I feel a tug on my pant leg, I look down to see the boy from before and I look up to see his mother giving an apologetic smile. I smile and I bend down to the boy, hi what can I do for you?
"My mommy says that you are spewcial and pwaciacious! but pweople make fun of you for it so I wanted to say that my mommy says it wong so I think so too so I wanted to give you thwis"
I smile and chuckle at the boys attempt at big words but I'm shocked when the boy pulls out a necklace with a rainbow on it and I see it's one of those expensive necklaces you can get charms engraved for. I soon hear the mothers voice Isaiah thought it was unfair when I told him that people can be very rude and small minded when it comes to accepting and understanding things that are different and don't really concern them so he dragged me into a store and picked out that necklace saying the rainbow reminded him of you he says you are very beautiful and radiate kindness well he said it in his limited vocabulary but still I chuckle when she smiles and I hug the little boy Isaiah thank you very much, he smiles and they both walk off.

Still shocked at what just happened I drag Zoe to the section with customizable chokers and chokers in general, I pick out a black velvet one with a cute little tiny heart on it along with a necklace that has a black heart charm on it and a black velvet choker that has a dream catcher on it. Zoe just smiles at me and we move on to clothes and shoes.
I look at a few band t-shirts smiling at them having no idea that as I move on Zoe goes and finds my size and picks the one she thinks I like the most, but I come across a pair of high top vans that I absolutely love they are matte black color that fades into a matte red. I look down at my torn plain black vans that were given to me by a friend and I frown looking up to see the tag says 30 dollars and I let a whole heap of nope's and I go and try to find Zoe but instead I find That kid Austin I talked to around the time of homecoming.

He smiles and turns back to the selection of Supernatural themed merch but about a second later he apparently finds something he likes because he gasps and soon I'm pushed aside by a very handsome man, he goes to Austin and checks him all over for possible injuries, Austin just giggles and says Damian I'm fine I just found a really cool pair of 3 bracelets. Damian sighs in relief and he grabs the bracelets and pays for them and in seconds he's handing them back to Austin and I find Austin clipping the bracelet that has a charm on it that says moose on my wrist, he clips the bracelet that says squirrel on it to Damian's wrist and he clips the one that says Just Castiel on it on his own wrist.

I look around trying to find Zoe but she's no where to be seen! I start panicking and hard, where could she have gone I think to myself, as I'm about to do the practiced lay on the ground and curl into a ball move when a bright colored birthday bag is thrusted into my line of vision, I turn around in a fast manner and when I see Zoe I tackle her earning a chuckle. DON'T EVER LEAVE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!!! A few tears fall and I'm lifted into the air by Zoe, she holds me on her hip like a toddler and she wipes my tears away peppering me with kisses.

The sentimental moment is ruined by a old lady storming up to Zoe and getting inches away her face, she proceeds to tell us can you please not do that in here, in a public place there are kids! Please take you're homosexuality some where else! You are upsetting me!
Before i or Zoe can even say anything a group of kids and the Hot topic employees walk up, "speak for yourself! None of us are bothered by their display of adorable affection. It seems to only be you who is bothered so please if you are going to harass customers for just showing affection then I'm going to have to ask you to leave because this store is a judgement free zone not to mention hot topic is a huge advocate for LGBT rights"I see the kids speak up, "please do not try to use us the youth as a excuse to be homophobic towards innocent people, because I can assure you we are not bothered In the slightest by their affection."
I grin widely thank you for taking up for us against that lady I say as I hope down from Zoe's arms taking the Gift deciding to go open it probably in the food court.

We walk over to the food court and sit down. I notice Austin and Damian are still here but I ignore it and I start to open the bag seeing all the items I had liked In the store but the thing that stands out is the shoes that I liked in the store, I give Zoe a tight hug saying thank you over and over again! You did all this for me...I couldn't ask for more I say smiling wildly and when I close my bedroom door for the last time that night I still mean it
