Chapter 53- Finale

Zoe's POV

The night finally ends after a bunch of dancing and laughter. "I think this is the most fun I've ever had Saph" I find myself blurting out to my beautiful girlfriend, but we need to head home it's late and I don't want your parents finding out you were here.

I'm okay with that I hear her say as she picks up the skirt of her dress and walks beside me gracefully gliding as she walks. "I'll take the back way so that we get there faster" I see her nod as we hop in my car and I take her back to her home.

Once we pull up she hops out and as quickly as she can in a huge heavy dress, she runs into her house and disappears so I take my leave and I head on home knowing she's safe and sound in her house.

I drop my keys on the table once I walk through the door of my home and I head on back to my bedroom feeling the after-effects of all the dancing we did tonight.

*THE FOLLOWING MONDAY*

I and Sapphire are sitting in my classroom like usual eating our lunch just talking and she's sitting admiring the Tiffany Necklace I bought her while eating Orange chicken when a bunch of cops burst through my door and Take me by the arms and the rest of them just hold onto safe as she thrashes around and screams for me. Everything feels like it's moving in slow motion as I'm guided out of the school and into a cop car.

Sapphire's POV

NO, YOU CAN'T TAKE HER AWAY SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!! PLEASE ZOE COME BACK  I scream at the top of my lungs but it isn't until I hear my mom's voice that I finally stop.

"I should have known that she was doing things to you, you kept coming home with expensive things, my precious little girl's innocence has been ruined by a sick perverted woman," she says in a low voice.

She didn't do anything mom I say through tears and choked back sobs and I start to scream again YOU TOOK AWAY THE ONLY PERSON THAT GAVE ME LOVE AND AFFECTION, SOMETHING YOU NEVER GAVE ME

I soon feel my mother grab my face with a tight grip and she starts to speak through gritted teeth, I pushed you out of me and raised you little ungrateful bitch.

Don't you dare touch me I say with burning hate rushing through me as I look the person that never gave two shits about me in the eyes

"First we'll take her to court and then you are to stay in your room at all times unless you're with me or a family member or at school, you got that?"

I feel myself choke back another sob but I nod my head yes and I get up wrapping my hand around the precious necklace that Zoe gave me. We'll have to get rid of the stuff she bought you I hear my mother say as she looks around, please mother no I promise I'll always be good if you let me keep the things she bought me!!

"Fine" I hear my mom say with a sigh and she walks out of the room and I fall to my knees sobbing.

*TIMESKIP TO THE DAY OF THE TRIAL*

I'm pacing around in a black pencil skirt and a tucked in button up shirt waiting for the trial to start and even though the situation is serious I can't help but look over at Zoe standing across the hallway in a navy blue pencil skirt and white button up, she looks so sophisticated and poise I almost don't recognize her. I finally hear the cue to walk in and I sit down by my so called mother and soon I'm taking the stand.

I swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth.

Did Zoe Griffin and you ever have sex Mrs.Campbell?

"No we didn't all we did was hang out and kiss nothing ever happened"

Thank you Mrs.Campbell you may go sit back down

I nod and sit back down waiting for the verdict.

The judge interviews my friends but they say they had no idea anything was happening

I hear by find Zoe Griffin  not guilty, there's no real evidence that an inappropriate relationship was ensued but there shall still be conquencences Mrs.Campbell has decided to place a restraining order on Mrs.Griffin so you will not be able to go 100 yards of Miss.Campbell until she is 18 years of age he banges his gavel and we're dissmissed.

Everything feels like it's moving in slow motion again as I'm lead to my moms car and Zoe is lead down the opposite end of the hallway.

*A FEW MONTHS LATER*

I couldn't remember what month it is, I could barely tell you what day it is, I haven't talked for months to anyone it's been a routine since the day after the trial, get up, go to school and come home and lay in my room listening to music. I basically became mute, I've started to forget what my voice sounds like but at this point I don't care because I can't see Zoe, I can't text or call her or even write to her, all contact is cut off until I'm 18 and it's going to kill me
