21| Calum
Lied to me, lied with me get your fucking fix. Now all my drinks and all my feelings are all fucking mixed."Sir i think that's enough." The bartender warned the raven haired boy as he slammed another glass down onto the counter, looking up at the man with man eyes.
"It'll be enough when I can't remember his face anymore, another round please." Calum mumbled through gritted teeth.
He shook his head sighing as he watched the many pouring another glass. The liquid quickly pooling at the bottom and filling all the way to the top.
The tall man slid his glass across the countertop, waiting for Calum to hand over the wad of cash.
Calum stood up not bothering to thanks the bartender as he downed his drink, setting it on a random table as he walked by. Stumbling out of the bar onto the busy streets of L.A Calum was pushed and shoved around as he tried to find a way back home.
That's not where he showed up.
After half an hour Calum found himself at a familiar doorstep, he held his hand in front of himself on the door in front of him, he knocked a couple of times, totally out of it.
As the person opened the front door Calum fell forward, catching himself before he fell face first into there house.
"Oh my- Calum!" Nia helped Calum up as he tried to focus his drowsy eyes on her.
"Calum what's wrong, why are you here why are you like this? Wha-" he silenced her with his hand and a simple phrase not bothering to meet her eyes.
"I'm sorry." He strained to get out weakly as his chin wobbled and tears spilled from his eyes.
"Why Calum? You didn't do anything."
"I'm in love, and it's not with you." He felt her arms slowly loosen their grip on his shoulders as she slid her arm off.
"What do you mean?" She began to gather her own tears in her eyes.
"I tried to hide it, I try to move on, but I'm in love with Luke. Now don't get me wrong Nia you're an am-" she shook her head pursing her lips slightly as she blinked to get the tears out of her eyes.
"I think it'd be best if you left Calum." She whispered looking down as she tucked her hair behind her ears.
He nodded silently tripping slightly as he stumbled away from her house, walking aimlessly down the streets of the town he had become so familiar with.
In his mind he had thought to go straight home, but that wasn't where his feet took him.
He once again walked up another pathway to a house that did not belong to him, he rang the door bell multiple times, hearing a voice shout in the background and heavy footsteps carry themselves to the front door.
Luke's face appeared from behind the door as he took in the sight in front of him.
Calum stood in ripped up jeans and dirty boots, his shirt loosely fitting him and slightly hanging off his shoulders, when Luke's eyes wandered to his face he had wished he'd never looked.
Calum's cheeks had sunken, his eyes bloodshot and tearful, dark circles surrounded them with a longing hopeless looking permanently etched onto his face.
"You lied to me Lukey, how could you do that?" Calum slurred through his tears.
"Was I not good enough for you?"
"Calum what's going on why are you here." Luke coughed as he tried his best not to cry.
"You told me you would love me forever, why did you break that promise, why don't you love me anymore." Luke was speechless as he stared at the drunken mess in front of him.
"I gave you everything I had! Every thing I am and everything I ever will be! Why would you do this to me Luke why?" Calum broke into hysterics as he sobbed into his own hands.
"If you give up on me Luke, I'm going to give up on me too, don't do this don't leave me please." Calum cried latching onto the much taller blonde as he let everything out.
"I'm so sorry Calum." Luke whispered through the tears falling down his face as he held the shaking boy in his arms. He knew he had messed Calum up so badly and he didn't know how to fix it.
