"aye! we're here!" giovanna shouted as they approached the makeshift cabin that was turned into a store. the sign on the door said open, so they stepped right in. an old man sat on a chair, reading a book. he looked at them carefully, narrowing his eyes, before returning to his reading. she turned to callum,"yikes. old men are mean." she frowned. "does this mean we have to be quiet?"

cal shrugged,"no, he can't kick us out if we buy things, i think." he motioned towards the grocery bags that were in place of shopping carts. "grab those, and we're gonna go shopping." giovanna had a large grin plastered on her face as she grabbed a ton of bags, putting them all in cal's arms.

"follow my lead," she giggled, the excitement she was feeling very obvious. she skimmed the short aisles filled with random things. "oh my goodness!" marching all the way back to the fridges, she pulled out a carton of chocolate milk. "cal, chocolate milk is heaven. she handed it to him.

"why do i have to carry everything?" he complained. she turned back to him and gave him a sweet smile.

"it's because i'm an angel, obviously. i also don't want to, so..." she dragged on her sentence, before turning away to find more junk.

cal watched as she went off, her hair bouncing with her. he cracked a smile, remembering that actually once hated that girl. "callum, you ass," he mumbled to himself. "don't screw this chance up." he regained his composure walked over to where giovanna was furrowing her eyebrows at the section full of crisps. "why that face?" he laughed.

giovanna glanced at him and shook her head,"i'm decided the best possible crisps to gain one thousand pounds with." she picked up two bags. "okay, we have the beautiful, amazing cheddar cheese or the amazing, wonderful sour cream and onion." she sighed, tossing them both as callum, who failed miserably to catch them. "let's get both!"

cal picked up the chips and sighed," try not to kill me." giovanna rolled her eyes as she headed to the next aisle to make him hold more things. he tried to hold in a smile as he followed her. she had arrived in the area full of sugary cereal. "Coco Pops!" She grabbed two boxes and handed them to Cal. "I really love Coco Pops." She laughed, walking ahead of him to search another aisle.

He slowly followed her, thinking once again. He could not get her out of his mind. Cal, you're just horny, he thought to himself, trying to shake off the idea that maybe, just maybe, he had a crush on his ex-enemy. He wondered if they had any pornos at the cabin.

"Cal, I think I found heaven," she motioned him over to the stands that were holding tons of different kinds of candy. "This," Giovanna pretended to wipe away a tear," is beautiful." She looked at Callum," What's your favorite kind of candy?"

He smiled at her childish grin," Surprise me." She grabbed a variety of chocolate bars, handing them all to her makeshift donkey named Callum Airey.

"Okay, okay," she sighed at herself," I think that's all I need for right now. I might have gotten a little carried away." She scratched the back of her neck, giving Cal a small smile.

"It's alright," he chuckled as he carried the extreme amount of items to the checkout. The old man they had met earlier glared at them, silently scanning their items. Callum gave the old man his money before grabbing his bags and leaving. "That was fun."

"It was," she laughed. "Thanks for bringing me down here." He shrugged. They continued walking back up the trail silently, the only noise being snow crushing beneath their shoes.

He took this moment to actually think about it all. He couldn't deny that he liked her any longer. He liked her smile, her laugh, her voice, and simply every single thing that she did. A crush was a crush, and he could not just push it away.
