Chapter 1: They call me the best
I cut the engine, keys in hand and for a quick second thought about starting it again and going on a joyride.
But, that wouldn't be fair to Josh.
I sighed rolling my eyes and clearing my throat for Josh to get the message that we were here. His arms were snaked around my waist holding onto me as if the world was going to end. If only we were that lucky.
I started peeling back his fingers so he would get the hint that we were here ,but of course Josh being Josh had his eyes tightly sealed and his face buried in my jacket.
"Joshesph, we're here," I said sighing while using his full name. I crained my neck sideways watching as he opened one eye.
I chuckled.
"Awwww! You look like a new born child, but it sucks that your not as cute," his face was priceless. He was getting a bit red but once he heard my last comment he stiffed and blushed as he got off me.
"Um, thanks?" His voice hoarse. Aw. He is such a scaredy cat. I wonder who would ever offer this job or my kind of job to him. He's too innocent.
"No prob," I responded carelessly. I mean seriously, no big deal.
I got off as he handed me the helmet he was wearing in case 'something happens' he said. I of course wasn't wearing a helmet. Why should I? Well, I am a awesome driver of motorcycles if I do say so myself.
I carefully placed his helmet down and couldn't help run my fingers over the shiney black exterior. My Ducati. Oh how mommy loves you.
I smiled my fingers running over the shiny leather seats and shiny handles. I love you so much, I cooed it in my head.
I even bought new gloves to go with it. They were black and cut off at the fingers ,so I guess you could call them black finger-less gloves. I called them my gloves to 'get a grip on your neck with'. Yes, I know the name is pure genius because I made it up.
"So.....um..." Josh muttered releasing a breathe of air not knowing what to say.
My eyes slowly made their way from my bike to his face. He looked confused, embarrassed, and I don't really know, maybe a happy?
I couldn't tell but as usual I couldn't care less.
"Let's go," I said smiling and shoving my keys into my pocket on the inside of my jacket. Someone had to put up one hell of a fight to get my keys.
I grabbed his shoulders, he was a couple inches taller than me and I was 5'8''. I spun him around to face the door with music blarring through and ushered him towards it.
"Follow the music Josh, follow the music," I said like a ghost as he let out a nervous chuckle which made me giggle.
I smiled at the huge guy standing in front of the club, his name was Hans. He smiled at me because he sees me here almost everyday. He was a real bud.
He opened the door and ushered us inside without hesitation.
I heard Josh mutter "Wow" as a couple of females glanced seductivly at him.
I giggled before moving close to his ear and whispering "Keep your guard up at all times, and don't leave this club without me."
But before he had anything to say I smiled evilly and pushed him towards the women before giggling and getting lost in the crowd.
It took a while to get to the bar with all guys rubbing their bodies on me and asking me to dance. I told them I would once I got a drink.
I breathed heavily once I reached the bar, leaning on it. It was way beyond humid in here and the smell of smoke didn't help the situation.
