Ileana's POV:
And the little boy went back over the hill and home to his mother and never ran away again. The end"
"Ileana! That can't be the end!"
"Micrea, that's what the book says. See?"
My youngest brother, Micrea, the baby of the family, had come down with pneumonia, along with Nicolai and Mignon. Beatrice and I had been taking care of them. I watched over Micrea while Beatrice supervised Nicolai. When mother was watching the two boys then we went to see Mignon.
"Well I know that's what the book says, but I say that there's still a long, long, long time before the real end."
"Oh I see. Well then O Intellectual Prince Micrea, what is the real end?"
"Well, the bear isn't act-atual-"
"Actually?"
"Uh huh, actaly dead and he says he is very, very, sorry to the little boy and gives him a big bear hug and then goes and lives with him and his mother. There! That's the real end."
