"Do you wanna move in with me"

I sat completely still for a moment, not sure how to process what Kyle, a man I had known all of two days, asked me to move in with him. I wanted to... of course I wanted to, but I wasn't sure if he wanted me to or if he was just saying things to seem nice.

He continued, "I mean... I have like three spare rooms, and I need a housemate to help me with shopping and stuff. My parents wont mind and its not like you'll have to pay anything."

It seemed that that was all the encouragement that I needed. A smile stretched across my face before I began nodding enthusiastically. I probably looked kind of insane to the other people sitting in the restaurant, but I was too busy freaking out about the fact that I would be moving in with Kyle.

By the time our little conversation had ending, we had finished our meals and where both staying a quiet as we possibly could.

I got into Kyle's car and tried to talk to him.

"so... when can I move in"

He smiled and took his eyes off the road momentarily to look at me, "Whenever you want to"

We both stood outside of my house.

"So whats the game plan?", Kyle said, sounding very unsure of whether or not he should go along with my idea.

"I told you like five times. My mums at work. we go in through my window, get my most prized and needed possessions, and then we escape"

"for the fifth time, are you sure that's going to work"

I looked at him, a slightly sarcastic smile growing on my face, "Well... there IS only one way to find out"

"I cant believe im agreeing to this"

I let out a chuckle and walked up to the wall of my house.

"Can you please lift me up Kyle"

He pushed my up and I grabbed onto the roof, launching myself into my window.

"Wont your neighbors be worried about seeing a short emo boy and his accomplice jumping into a second story window." Kyle yelled as he jumped through the window behind me.

I shook my head and grabbed a bag from the corner of my room.

"What do we need?" Kyle said as he walked to my bedroom door and out into the hallway.

"I'm gonna get my computer, phone and any other electronics that i need, you can... fill this up with my clothes and toiletries, which are in my bathroom... to the left" I handed him the bag and ran downstairs to find my computer and phone, which where laid carelessly on the kitchen counter.

I ran back up the stairs, my electronics in hand and went to see Kyle, who had randomly thrown several black T-shirts and pairs of skinny jeans into the bag I had given him. I ran into the bathroom and somehow threw a toothbrush, toothpaste and hair stuff into the bag Kyle was holding from across the room, which I personally see as an accomplishment.

"You should leave a note" Kyle suggested, "You know... so it doesn't just look like someone has robbed your mother"

I smiled and nodded, grabbing a piece of paper and scribbling down that I had moved and taken my stuff in a very unconventional fashion. I ran back downstairs and threw it on the bench before rejoining Kyle to jump out of my window and onto the ground.

I wasn't scared about the height this time, it may have been the adrenaline, or the fact that Kyle was there, but it didn't seem scary.

As me and Kyle reached the car we looked back at the house.

"Mission accomplished"

"I need you to promise me something," I turned to Kyle, "Never say ANYTHING that cheesy again... ever.. in your entire life"
