Dinner Date?

I walked into Johnnies room, "Are you ready to go out yet"

He looked at me with a puzzled expression

"I told you this afternoon"

His expression changed, "Oh yeah, the dinner date, Just gi-"

"Its not a date" I blurted out, regretting it straight away, "Unless you want it to be"

I think I made that situation like 500 times worse.

I tried to fake a laugh, to make it seem like I was somewhat joking, but I was questioning why I had to fake it, I didn't like Johnnie. Shit... maybe the yaoi is affecting my brain.

"haha," Johnnie said very sarcastically, "Just go wait in the kitchen, I'll be there in a minute."

We both sat in the restaurant that I had picked out. It was a small Thai place next to the shopping center.

 We had finished our food and I was mindlessly staring at Johnnie, who hadn't noticed and was instead looking down, sipping on his drink.

He looked up and I quickly ripped my gaze away from him.

"Where you staring at me... creep"

"No! I wasn't!"

"Sure you weren't", he chuckled under his breath.

It suddenly fell silent, which was kind of incredibly awkward.

"So... do you wanna go"

Johnnie smiled, then nodded several times, "Yeah, lets go"

We slowly walked out of the restaurant. We passed an ice-cream shop on the way to the car. 

Johnnie suddenly stopped, smiling and pointing behind me at the ice-cream.

"We gotta get some"

"You are a child"

He nodded, "Yes I am"

I laughed before following him into the store, I mean... I didn't really have a choice, he was dragging me.

"Do you want anything"

I shook my head as Johnnie looked back to the cashier and ordered some concoction, mostly consisting of chocolate.

I grabbed my wallet and handed the money to the cashier. 

"Why are you paying"

"Because I was bored"

Johnnie chuckled and we continued to walk to the car. Johnnie was smiling like an idiot, It was weird how happy he would be if you gave him something as simple as an ice-cream.

I climbed into the car and Johnnie slowly copied my actions.

We stood outside of my house as I fiddled with my keys, trying to unlock the door. I finally got it open and let Johnnie walk into the house before I followed him and closed the door behind us.

"Thank you" Johnnie said as he turned away, his cheeks turning slightly red.

I placed my hand on his shoulder as he turned back to face me, I didn't really know what he was thanking me for, "You are incredible welcome Johnnie Guilbert"

And then it happened, Johnnie leaned in for a kiss, and I did the exact same thing. As soon as my brain figured out what was happening I pulled away. 

"Goodnight" I awkwardly yelled as I stumbled off to my room. I quickly shut my door and fell into  ball on my floor.

What the hell did I just get myself into.
