"Are you done?" She asks me.
"Pardon?" I respond.
"Are you done?
I can practically see the gears in your head spinning.
You're an observant person.
I'm going to assume that most of the hints I tossed out, purposeful or not, didn't go past you.
So I'm asking if you're done connecting the dots so I can clear a few things up."
It takes me a minute to find my voice.
"Yes, I'm done.
At least I think I am," I say.
"Okay, " she begins.
"Number one, I'm surprised it took you this long.
No offence intended."
"None taken," I say,
Secretly pleased she thinks I'm that good at solving mysteries.
"Second, I'm not lesbian.
And I didn't just say that to get a reaction from you.
I'm bisexual."
"You're bi-what?" I ask.
She sighs.
"It means you like guys and girls."
Makes more sense.
Although, we left the land of making sense a long time ago.
"Do your friends know?" I blurt out.
She gives me an odd look.
"Yeah, some of them.
Why?"
I'm in dangerous territory now, asking questions I don't need to know the answers too.
But there is something burning inside of me.
"Which ones?"
Another strange look.
"Esa, Hanna, Lia, Gemma , and Skye."
Skye.
I shouldn't be surprised.
