"So, Nick works?" Donnie asked, amazed.

"That's not the moral of the story, Donnie." I chided.

He held his chin in his hand, "Still, Nick working...I can't see it. I mean, she can create whatever she wants. Money, food, resources, anything." He explained.

"Yeah, but the odd thing was she ran off when she saw us. Another waitress came out and served us. When I saw Nick at school, she was all 'I'm gunna kill the turtles and whoever get in my way,' not 'Shit! Bekka and April! Gotta hide'." I told them.

"Maybe she was just caught off guard, didn't want you guys to see her stoop to working at a diner for money." Leo suggested.

"I guess, but..." I trailed off.

"Bros," Mikey started, "if they have pizza there, we can see Nick!"

I face palmed, "Mikey, I don't think Nick would appreciate that."

"But do they have pizza there?" He asked, eagerly.

I sighed, "Yes...they do."

"Yes!"

Raph hit Mikey of the back of the head and crossed his arms, "Is that all you wanted to tell us? Nick works?"

I crossed my arms too, "And the fact she has a boyfriend."

Donnie choked, "What? Are you sure you saw Nick? I mean, working and in a relationship?"

I nodded, "My eyes are twenty/twenty, I know what I saw. A perverted bastard that grabs asses for fun."

"Bekka, language," Leo hissed, jabbing his thumb towards Mikey.

April rolled her eyes, "He didn't grab her like that, he wrapped his arms around her waist." April pointed out. "Anyway, Nick was smiling at him back."

I scowled, "My point still stands, he's a bastard."

"So, she has a boyfriend, big whoop." Raph muttered. "Anything else? Perhaps she has a magical unicorn too?"

I scowled, "Like I know that, perhaps she does."

He rolled his eyes, "If that's all you want to say, then I'm heading topside for patrol."

I arched my eyebrow, "Why? Can't stand hearing about Nick having guy friend?"

His eyes narrowed, "Oh? Just because we kissed twice doesn't mean I have feelings for that dimwit who can't get her head on straight. In fact, I'm happy that she's gone."

Mikey stared at him with puppy eyes, "Aw, bro, you don't mean that...do you?"

Raph glared at him, "Of course I do! All she's done is give us more problems than we need. It's been the quietest the lair has been since she got here. Even though she's gone, you guys are scrambling to get her back. Why?" He demanded.

"Because she's our friend, all of our friend." April jabbed. "If you can't realize that, then it's your loss, Raph."

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever, I'm doing patrol." He growled and trudged off.

I sighed, "Who wants to get him when he doesn't come back?"

Donnie just shook his head, "He's fine, just let him blow off some steam."

"Okay, Don, if you say so." I said.

With that, Donnie and April went to the his lab, discussing science and Kraang technology while Mikey ran off to play video games.
