Chapter 2

*present day*

Ella's POV

I had my customized Beats headphones in listening to The Monster by Rihanna.

"Ella!" I heard Demi faintly yell.

I acted as if I didn't hear her.

"Ella Marie!" I heard her yell again.

I slid my headphones off my head, "what!?" I screamed.

She walked up the stairs and stood in my doorway, "get ready, we're going out to eat tonight." she said.

"No. I'm not going." I said staring at my computer screen.

"Why?.." she said, looking down at the floor.

"Cause. Could you please go?" I asked and put my headphones back on.

She stood there as leaned against my doorway, still looking at the ground.

"I said leave, Demi." I said, putting my headphones around my neck.

She looked up at me, "why don't you call me mom?..." She asked.

I just sat there, mad that she would even ask that question.

"Ella?" She asked again.

"I don't call you mom because I hate you!" I fumed.

Her eyes glimmered, showing she was about to cry. I knew I should stop talking but I couldn't.

"And you ruined my family! I haven't seen my brother or sister in 4 years! you told me I could see them everyday and I haven't! I hate you so much!" I screamed.

Tears fell from her face onto the floor.

"Now please get out." I said, tears brimming my eyes.

She nodded and walked out shutting the door behind her.

As soon as the door closed, I broke down.

I put my hands over my face and cried.
Nothing ever goes right...

Lol. Sorry if it was short and guys, I don't have wifi at my house so I try to update as soon a possible. Usually I can update on Sundays cause I go to my grandmas.

Since Christmas is almost here, mom said she might get wifi at the house but no promises.
