"We can't have any of the girls knowing. They'd never let it slide." I overheard Ben speaking in the living room. I listened closer.
"Agreed. So how do we do it?" Cameron replied. Curious, I walked in and sat down beside Denis, holding his hand. He kissed my forehead, looking nervous.
"What are y'all talking about?"
"Oh nothing." Sam shrugged.
"Really, don't worry about it." Ben agreed.
"Secrets are no fun."
"Not a secret. But we aren't telling you." James said slowly. "So maybe it is a secret." I rolled my eyes.
"Fine. Don't tell me then. I don't even wanna know." I stuck up my nose and crossed my arms. After a minute of silence I sighed. "You're really not gonna tell me?"
"No." Denis laughed slightly. "It doesn't concern you."
"Really cause I'm pretty concerned right now."
"Don't be. It's easy stuff." I sighed in defeat and let it go.
"Okay. What do you sneaky cheeky bastards want to eat? Cause I'm starving. Order in or shall I make another tub full of pasta?" I crossed my legs on the couch, leaning into Denis' warm body.
"Oh god, if I eat any more pasta I'm gonna be sick." Ben moaned.
"No one told you you had to eat everything she gave you." Cameron laughed. "And certainly no one said you had to eat it in three days."
"No way I'm letting that shit go to waste. I have zero regrets."
"So pizza then?"
"No?" Everyone else looked at me like I was stupid. "Pasta."
"Yeah. I can eat that shit for weeks." Ben sighed. "I'll give you a hand." So Ben and I made pasta and my infamous sauce and I made him swear never to tell my recipe. I was sure he wouldn't, because he couldn't even remember it. As we sat around the table and ate, I ignored two calls from Danny, before putting my phone on silent.
"Just call him back, Leda." Ben sighed. "He's going crazy."
"I will later." I mumbled as I ate another forkful of spaghetti.
"Are you gonna keep saying later until you can't dial his number by heart anymore?" I glared up at Ben before going back to my food. "He's the father of the thing in your stomach he deserves to know what the fuck is going on." I dropped my fork, making a loud sound against my plate. I took a deep breath.
"First of all, I told him I was gonna call him back later already. And it's really none of your business. Second, do not ever call my baby a thing ever again. Third, the thing inside me, is still inside me, and if I don't want him to see him, I won't see him. Stay in your own fucking lane Benjamin I swear to god." I resumed my meal. Everyone was quiet until Ben said a quiet good bye to everyone and left. Shortly after everyone helped clean up dinner, they all said their goodbyes and made their way to their respective homes.
"Sorry about that." I sighed into Denis' chest, cuddling him on the couch.
"You have nothing to be sorry about. I should have stood up for you."
"I might call Ben and apologize. He's going through some tough shit, he has a right to be shitty. And I really need to call Danny back."
Oohh tension in the Ben Leda territory. Beda? Len? I like Len.
ASKCKCIISBS OKAY HI
"Sorry I haven't been updating" blah blah blah I've said it a million times. Am I getting this predictable? Anyways I keep getting the plots for the sequel's mixed up so tbh it takes me way to long to figure out what to write about. "Sorry this is a short chapter" again, I said it before, but at least it's something, right ?
Love y'all who stick around 😘😘😘
