Fix Me

I'm tired
I'm frozen
On the inside
The sun is blocked by clouds
And leaves cover the streets
But they never could be as dead as me
My heart is being stepped on
Crunched like the leaves under his short heel
He doesn't have much to offer but do you know how he makes me feel?
He's got everything to me
But he's here one second and then he's gone
Hurts me and my heart doesn't know how to respond
Sometimes I hear that he's got another girl
One that could give him the world
Other times he's complaining
That he can't find a decent lady
Boy look now
Can't you see
Look right at me
You've got me standing and waiting
The entire time impatiently
You know how I feel
You should at least because of how I've been acting
But now its fall time
Its been a year and you still aren't mine
And you crush my heart every day
Like I'm just another leaf on the ground
Step on her, she'll still be around
And now I'm left wanting
Left aching
For you to come back and fix me
