Its going to be a cold April day
And I think you need to come my way
Its early yet
But I can bet
I'll make your coffee and you'll pass me by
Cup in your hand you'll go and I don't know why
Say hello
Don't you go
Don't leave me right away
Why don't you ever stay?
Tonight you'll come home
Fingers flying on your phone
You already ate
And its half past eight
Businessman
I bet you've got a plan
Your suit and tie
The excuses pile high
Coming home late
Make me wait
Trip for work
But baby it doesn't WORK
This morning I won't let you pass by
In my stomach I'll feel the flutter of wings about to fly
Words to say
But I wouldn't let you go anyway
Our love didn't come easy
Baby I don't care
Just take me there
Don't let me go
