Its been this way a while now
I'm feeling like the child now
Who was told she was worthless
So she began to believe it herself
She made others unaffected begin to believe it
And she became it
Hating every day
Forever getting in the way
She's an adult now
Went to school for a job she never wanted
Can't get a man so no white picket fence dreams
She's crazy
She's angry
She's hating
She's hurting
She's a mess
A 9-5 worker who never gets out
She hates herself
And she always wants more
But she doesn't deserve it, no
