14. Missile Kid

It had been 3 weeks since Poison and the others saved me. Dr. D said I was finally well enough to leave and return to the Diner. I was still in rough shape after what happened but I was well enough to move around as long as I moved slowly and not to much. "Remember, take it easy." Dr. D reminded me before waving us off as we drove back to the Diner.

When we got to the Diner Poison took my hand in his and led me to one of the booths. "You okay?" I asked him with a concerned tone in my voice. He smiled at me reassuringly. "Yeah I'm fine I'm just glad you're okay and save." I laughed softly. I wanted to reply but Fun came in and started talking. "Missile Kid is here!" He yelled. Poison jumped up with a huge smile on his face. "Really?" He yelled excitedly. I was super confused. Who is Missile Kid?

Then a young girl with brown, curly hair walked in. She looks about 10 years old. Poison walked up to her and she immediately jumped into his arms and hugged him. "Poison!" She yelled. "I missed you guys so much!" She said pulling away from him with a big grin on her face. He smiled at her. "We missed you to Kid. How have you been?" He asked. "Great and you boys? Hope you haven't been getting into any trouble." She said with a knowing look. He just chuckled. Then she turned and looked at me. She frowned. "Who's this?" She asked with curiosity, looking back at Poison. He smiled at her. "Kid, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Chaotic Venom or just Venom for short." He said, pointing at me.

I stood there awkwardly and gave her a small wave and smiled. She smiled back at me. "Hi I'm Missile Kid but you can call me Kid. It's nice to meet you. I'm glad Poison finally found himself a nice girl. I thought he'd never get a girlfriend." She said, beaming at me. I noticed Poison's face and saw he had become red. Almost as red as his hair. I giggled. "Thanks, it's nice to meet you too." I said.

Kobra came in and greeted Kid. "Hey Kid, you wanna come play with me and Jet?" He asked. She jumped up and down with excitement. "Yes!" She said enthusiastically. "I wanna play too!" Fun said following them. That left me and Poison alone once again. "So, I'm your girlfriend?" I asked smiling with a small blush. "I - I mean only if you want to be." He stuttered with a blush, rubbing the back of his neck. I just smiled softly at him. "I'd love to be your girlfriend." I said. He looked so happy when I said that.

"So who's the girl?" I asked. "How do you know her, I mean?" He looked at me. "She's the girl we have to protect. She's special. She is the one that can save us from bl/ind. She is our only true chance we got at beating them once and for all." I stared at him in confusion. How can one little girl save us all and defeat bl/ind? Is that even possible? "That little girl?" I asked. "Yeah she will save us." He said smiling. "But how?" I asked. It's not possible. How can a child save all of us when an entire group of adults can defeat bl/ind? These thoughts kept running through my brain. "I told you, she is special." He replied. "Special how?" I asked, wanting to understand how she could save us.

He signed. "It's a bit complicated. She's basically a bomb. She can give things power and she can take power away. She doesn't know it yet but she will. One day. When she is ready." He said, as if it was that obvious. I stared at him in bewilderment. No way is that possible. "How is that possible? How do you know this?" I asked. Non of this makes any sense. "The Phoenix Witch told us." He said simply. "The Phoenix Witch? She's real? How did she tell you?" I couldn't believe it. "Yes she's real and she told us in a dream. I know this sounds crazy, but Dr. D even told us this. One day when we went over to his place, a few days after the dream, he told us the exact same thing, and that's not even the weirdest part yet. We all had the same dream. Me, Kobra, Fun and Jet. That has to mean it's true." He said.

My mind was blown away. "You're telling me that we actually stand a chance of winning against bl/ind?" I stared at him with hope in my eyes. "Yes." He said with a bring smile on his face. "She is a threat to them and they know it. That's exactly why we have to protect her at all costs. Even if it means giving our own lives." I nodded

At that moment, I was determined to protect her at all costs, just like Poison said. She was our only hope. I would protect her with my live.

(That part of Missile Kid being a bomb and all that is actually from the comics except for the how dream thing and dr. D knowing. Also I was thinking of starting another story of gerard way x demon reader what do you think?)
