NADIA P.O.V.
My jaw dropped to the floor. It was huge! I began walking around. Fury chuckled. "Nadia, this is to be your lab for whenever you are here. You can do whatever, as long as it doesn't endanger anyone on the ship." I smiled and ran to Fury, wrapping him in a hug. "Thank you!" I said squeezing him as hard as I could without crushing him. He chuckled. "Your welcome." I pulled back and began doing a thorough inspection of my new lab.
There were computers, holotables, chemicals, microscplopes, and so much more! I was amazed, there was equipment even HYDRA didn't have!
Unlike HYDRA, S.H.E.I.L.D. gives you the freedom to invent whatever you please-to some extent-whereas at HYDRA you only built what you were told, if you even THOUGHT about straying from that path you were punished. And not just slapping the back off your hands, I mean whipping, labor, experimentation, memory wipe. Many of my scars are from such punishments. I internally shuddered at the memories.
I banished those thoughts from my head and began to take a mental inventory of all the equipment. I faintly heard Fury chuckle before he left me to my own devices. I smiled at everything I could do. I felt a tear run down my face.
I never thought that I would ever be this free.
