Phil POV

I stared down into the cup of coffee May had brought me from the cafeteria.

After Nadia had told me to go I jumped out of the window, yes I know, how cowardly. But I wouldn't have done it unless I knew she had an extraction plan. Which she did. I just had to wait.

In the mean time I need to let everyone know what happened. I also need to tell Aria and Nadia's other friends, including Bruce Banner. Nadia didn't think I knew but I had overheard her talking to him one day when I went to pick her up.

I sighed as I realized who else still needed to be notified. Nat and Clint. They aren't scheduled to return until next week. I imagined their reactions when I told them the news. Clint would probably put an arrow through my eye. Nat would remove my ability to call myself a man. Bruce would tear me to shreds. I shook my head of the other possibilities. I had to keep my promise to Addy. Otherwise she would do all three.

I sighed and rubbed my hand over my face to calm my nerves. I was sweating like a teenager asking his crush to prom.

I came to a conclusion. I rose to my feet and walked out of my office and to the garage where Lola was stored. I showed the Agent gaurding the doors my badge and he let me in no questions asked. I walked over to the bright red vehicle that stood out from all the black SHIELD vehicles surrounding it. Addy would make jokes about how my car was so different than the others. Calling it, 'a tulip in a field of roses'.

I sighed as I slid into the familiar leather seat. As I was about to start the car I noticed something shining on the ground. I bent down to retrieve the object and discovered that it was Addy's locket. I opened the silver heart shaped pendant. Inside was a picture of Nat, Clint, Maria, Fury, Addy, and myself. Addy had insisted we take a family photo. Now I knew why. As I looked closer I noticed there was a second picture below the first. Carefully sliding out the image, I gasped at what lay underneath.

There was a photo of what I assumed was Addy's mother and Addy herself in a princess costume. The part of the photo that made my heart stop, was the man that stood smiling next to the two. Or would be smiling if his face hadn't been crossed out. The man was none other, than Tony Stark.

    I need to find Aria.
