CLINT'S P.O.V.
I looked over to where Nadia had been walking back to her lab, and then I saw her collapse onto the floor.
"Nadia!" I yelled getting up and running up to her limp form on the floor. Nat ran to my side, Mel close behind.
I checked her pulse, but there was none. "We need a medic!" Nat cried as she saw her baby on the floor. I began to do CPR.
Suddenly a laugh filled the area. "How sweet, the Monster surrounded by the people willing to care for her without knowing how much destruction she can do."

A man in a Hydra uniform walked into the mess hall with an air of authority around him, and about 50 Hydra agents. "My name is Baron Von Struker. I came to collect my property." He said as he walked down the three steps to level ground. Nat stood.
"Let my daughter go!" She yelled.
Baron chuckled. "'Your daughter'? You're not her mother. Her mother died trying to save her little girl even after her father told her he didn't want the little brat. But make no mistake, her mother wasn't a saint, oh no, far from it." He began walking around the room, nobody's eyes left the man. "You see, Kate volunteered to let her unborn child be experimented on. After all, she was a hydra agent, and she was willing to do anything for the cause. So we began to experiment. When young Nadia was born, her cry was so powerful it shattered all the glass within a ten-foot radius. Kate was horrified at what we had done to her 'baby girl'." He said with mock jazz hands. "But after 4 years, her father showed up and saiid he would pay Kate a very large amount of money to keep quiet about the child being his. But she being the stubborn woman she was, refused, long story short they had an argument, he disowned the brat and then we showed up and took her. Now we want her back." He turned to them.
"If you want her back so badly, why did you kill her?" May asked. Although she wasn't overly fond of the child, she cared for her, or as close to caring as May can get.
Baron laughed. "Oh no, she's not dead, her heart rate is so fast that it can't be registered by man or machine. It's called a kill-switch. If her heart doesn't slow down soon, she'll die." He spoke smugly.
"Not if I can help it!" A voice called down from the rafters before a figure jumped down from the cieling, their cape flowing dramatically behind them. As they landed they took on a superhero landing before standing. "No one hurts one of my friends." A woman's voice said as the figure pulled down their hood to reveal a woman wearing a strange mask that covered most of her face.
Baron laughed again. "Well look who it is, the failed supersoldier. How nice, one monster protecting another." He smiled. "I'm feeling generous today so I'll give you a choice, either stand down and I save her, or try and fight me and I press one little button and her heart goes BOOM!"
Apparently the woman knew something that no one else did, because she chuckled. "Fine." She said with so much venom even Nat didn't possess. Baron pulled a remote out of his pocket and held it up. But there was a problem, there was only one button.
"Only one push and she can be saved." He said but the master assassins could tell he was getting nervous.
The woman laughed again. "Before any decisions are made, how about you take off that stupid mask?"
He looked startled. "How did you-?" He asked.
"Not even Baron would be stupid enough to willingly walk into his enemies territory unless of course, he wasn't really here and he instead sent in a soldier wearing a mask that could make the soldier look like him, am I right?" She asked. The soldier nodded. The woman gestured to Nadia. Again he nodded and began to slowly walk over to where Nadia lay. "Oh, and just so you all know, Nadia wouldn't be stupid enough to leave a kill-switch in her."
