Chapter 30

Sam

I woke up with a massive headache hitting me like a tidal wave. I opened my eyes and shut them closed again as bright lights shone down on me. I turned my head to the side and slowly opened my eyes once more.

I looked around and noticed that I was on the bed. There was no one in a room, and I was all alone. I could feel my wolf growling inside of me, wanting to be let out.

I sat up on the bed and studied my surrounding to try and identify my exact location. The rooms look like a hotel room, with the balcony and the busy city outside. I stood up and went to the door.

I twisted the doorknob and noticed that it was locked. I sighed, of course, it would be locked. I went to the balcony and saw how high up the room was. I looked down and fear shot up my spine, the height was enough to kill anyone who attempts to jump, even a werewolf like me.

I went back inside the room and tried to think of a plan to get out of this place when I heard the door opening making my wolf alert. I was about to look for a weapon to defend myself when suddenly a familiar scent hit my senses making my eyes water.

"Nice to see you again, sister." My second older brother, Tyler, said.

Tyler, the second oldest out of the three of us, stood there by the doorway with his arms crossed and a smirk painted on his face.

"T-Tyler?" I stuttered.

My heart is hammering against my chest as fear consumed my entire being. His smirk widened and I know that he could hear how fast and hard my heart is beating right now. Old memories that were slowly starting to be replaced by happy ones were now resurfacing once again.

"Is there something wrong with your heart, sister? You look nervous." Tyler said in a mocking tone as he took a step closer to me. I took a step back trying to get away from this cruel man in front of me I call a brother.

"Why am I here Tyler? What do you want?" I asked him in a strong voice so he can't see just how scared I am inside.

"Well, sister, I am here to take you back to our pack. After that little stunt you pulled back there, our older brother was not happy." Tyler said.

I looked at him and suddenly felt anger coursing through my veins. Why couldn't they just let me be after the years of abuse and torture they put me through? Why does it have to be me?

I glared at him and balled my hands into fists. His face turned amused making my wolf growl in warning.

"Why? Why does it have to be me? What did I ever do to you, huh?" I told him angrily.

The amusement that was on his face was replaced with an ugly sneer as he glared at me with all the hatred that he's feeling.

"You're the cause of our parents' death. You caused our pack to suffer, especially me and our older brother. Our parents were important members of our pack, they were loved and adored by all the members. They brought happiness into our pack, but when they died it's like they took all the happiness with them," Tyler stated. His face scrunched up in pain. He looked broken, hurt, and angry.

"You just stood there and watched them die. You didn't do anything at all. They should still be alive, you should have died instead of them. You're not important anyway, but they were and now they're dead because of you." he continued.

Tyler was looking at the floor. He was gripping his hair with his shaking hands. His eyes were wide as he told me all those hurtful words.

It was like a stab in the chest for me. Hundreds of knives stabbing me right in the heart as he said those words. I looked at him in shock and disbelief. I couldn't move at all, my body was numb. It was like a bucket of ice water was poured on my body.

"They were my parents too, Tyler. You're not the only one who was affected." I told him quietly, my voice barely above a whisper.

He let out a sardonic laugh. He marched towards me and gripped my arms in a tight hold making me wince.

"Do you think I give a crap about how you felt? Well new flash b*tch, I don't" Tyler spat. He got a rope out of his back pocket and tied them tightly around my wrists, making sure that I won't be able to escape.

"Oh, and just so you don't try to shift while I'm not looking, have some wolves bane. It's good for people like you who deserves to rot in hell, alone." Tyler said before I felt a sharp pain on my shoulder blade causing me to cry out.

I fell to my knees and tried to touch the burning on my shoulder blade, but the rope that was wrapped around my wrists prevented me from doing that. I heard Tyler let out a bitter laugh, probably from seeing me suffer before I heard him walking away and the slamming of the door that followed after.

Tears started streaming down my face. How could my own brother do that? How could they be so...so cruel?

As I laid on the ground, thoughts filled my head. I couldn't talk to my wolf because of the wolves bane Tyler put in my system. I feel alone, scared, and exhausted from what happened today. I just want the pain and suffering to stop and to leave me alone in peace. But how can that happen when the people who want to hurt me the most will stop at nothing to get me?
