Austin's POV

_____

It was dark by the time that I'd gotten over to Jack's house with Tino, Phil, and Alan. It was a bit cold out and I was shivering in my thin jacket. It was the morning that we were leaving for the winter break. Of course, I'd procrastinated and hadn't packed anything until earlier that morning. And of course, Alan helped me out.

We were all shoving our bags into the back trunk of Jack's family van. Each of us tired and even grumbling complaints. The worse was probably Alan. Alan was usually a bit of a diva, but when his beauty sleep was interrupted, he became even more of a diva.

"Who the fuck are we waiting on?" Alan complained from the middle seat in the van. Jack opened his phone to check the time once more.

"Jesse and Kellin." Jack told him. I hadn't known that Kellin was coming, he'd never mentioned it. But then again, I hadn't mentioned the trip at all to him, just in case he wasn't invited, I didn't want him to feel left out or something.

"They live near each other?" Alan grumbled. I crawled into the van and into the back seat. I slapped Alan's arm lightly.

"Yeah, shut up and go to sleep." I told him. He rolled his eyes.

"So you can all draw on my face like last time? I don't fucking think so." Alan shot back. Justin started laughing.

"I remember that! He woke up with dicks all over his face." Justin recalled to us all. Phil started laughing as well.

"Yeah, I don't need a repeat of that." Alan said to me bitterly. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes.

"Go to sleep. I'll make sure that no one draws on you." I assured him, with one more grumble, he closed his eyes and went to sleep. We all sat around for another fifteen minutes until Jesse and Kellin came bounding over to us.

"What the fuck? We should've been gone by now. Now we'll have to deal with traffic." Justin asked Jesse. Kellin didn't say anything, he stuffed his bag into the back and crawled into the van. He spotted me and came over to me. He sat in my lap and hugged me.

"Hey, you." He whispered to me, pulling back enough to peck my lips.

"Hey." I whispered back. We both heard gagging noises and we both looked away, our cheeks flushed.

"Save that for when no one's around please." Tino teased, climbing in next to Alan. Phil crawled in next to me and Jesse sat next to him. Justin and Jack sat in the driver and passenger seat.

"Is everyone fucking buckled in?" Jack asked everyone as he started the car. I glanced around and just buckled myself in, pulling Kellin closer to me.

"I gotcha." I told him. He flushed even harder but mumbled out a thank you.

"Yeah, we're all buckled in!" Tino yelled to Jack.

"Good, here we go then!" Jack started to back out of the driveway.

"What do y'all wanna listen to?" Justin asked us all. I shrugged, I didn't really care.

"What's on the radio?" Phil asked him. Justin turned on the radio and out came Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball. Of course we all sang along, shamefully knowing all the words.

About two hours later, the sun was starting the emerge over the horizon and almost everyone was asleep. Jesse's head was on Phil's shoulder. Justin was snoring slightly over the radio. Alan was still asleep. Tino was still awake and talking to Jack about some new band that he'd been listening to. Kellin was asleep, and I couldn't for some odd reason or another, fall asleep. I was tired, exhausted even, but couldn't find enough peace to sleep. I stared out the window, content with the view, whizzing past us.

The sky was slightly pink and peach. The sun just peeking over the horizon. The upper part of the sky still a dark blue. It was beautiful. There was the occasional tree and plain that we pasted of course, but nothing really distracted me from the few clouds dotting the sky above us.

"Hey, Aus? You awake?" Tino asked me. I nodded, fully awake.

"Yeah, man." I whispered to him, not wanting to wake Kells up.

"Jack's tired, you wanna drive next?" Tino asked me. I glanced at Kells. I had told him that I had him. I wasn't so sure how that was going to work. There was a snort throughout the van.

"I'll drive! Austin sucks at driving anyway." Alan said with a slight yawn. He glanced back at me, giving me a small wink.

"I do not suck at driving." I argued back weakly. I knew what he was doing. Though Alan was tired, he was willing to drive so I wouldn't have to. He knew how I was about Kells.

"Whatever, you say, Aus." Alan said sitting up straighter, cracking his back slightly. Jack pulled off the road after we'd passed a few more blocks. He got out and so did Alan, the two switching seats with each other. Tino eyed me and Kells, but didn't say anything.

It's been about a week since Kellin had spent the night at my house. That night had been a little weird, but it turned out okay. I'd come to really like just being around Kells, and if I promised him something, I tried my hardest to keep it. I hated when people broke their promises to me, so I figured that Kellin probably did too.

That was the thing. I treated him just like I wanted to be treated, I only pressed the issue of if he was okay or not, when I could tell he wanted me to. There was a difference. Sometimes, he just wanted me to hold him and let him cry, others, he wanted me ask him, pry at it, to prove that I truly cared. I rested my head on his shoulder and let myself slowly drift asleep. The boy in my arms stirring enough to snuggle closer to me.

"WAKE THE FUCK UP!" Jack screamed out at all of us. I opened my eyes to find everyone else waking up as well. Kellin ran a hand through his hair.

"Stop fucking yelling!" Jesse yelled back at him tiredly.

"You're yelling as well!" Justin yelled at Jesse. Alan rolled his eyes.

"Everyone, fucking chill your nips." Alan called out to everyone in the van. I glanced out the window to find that we were in the driveway of some sort of wooden cabin. There was a lake not too far from the house and evergreen tree surrounded the place. "We're here." Phil opened the door and icy wind blew into the van. I shivered. I probably should have come in more than a jacket, a t-shirt and some jeans.

"You okay?" Kel asked me quietly. I nodded, a grin on my face.

"Yeah, just cold." I told him. Everyone else got out of the van. I tried desperately not to shiver as I got my bag from the trunk and followed Jack into the house. It was surprisingly warm in there, the smell of mint filling the air. Jack showed us The Hall of Guest Rooms, that's what he actually called it. Pointing to each room, he shouted out a name, each of us getting our own rooms.

It me, Tino, Justin and Jesse on the left and Alan, Phil and Kells on the right. Jack had his own room across the house.

"Here's the rules guys, we have this place to ourselves for the next two days. Let's not get too crazy, okay? Okay. No fighting, no streaking, no arguments and no sex." Jack said sternly to all of us. "Any questions?" Justin raised his hand. "Yes?"

"Do we have a curfew as well, Daddy?" Justin asked him jokingly. Jack rolled his eyes,

"No. Now, do whatever you want. Anyone hungry?" Jack asked us all. There was unanimous uproar of hell yeah's.
