Matthew's POV

I woke up to a room that wasn't mine. Two doors were behind me, most likely leading to bedrooms. A daybed was to my left, facing a TV. A documentary on snow wolves was playing. A foldable table in front of said daybed was covered with paper, junk food wrappers and miscellaneous stationary. A tall mahogany bookcase separated the room into two parts - the left being the leisure area and the right the work space, it seemed. A large revolving chair faced a computer with two screens. A mini fridge stood nearby.

Beside the huge chair, a faded purple armchair - which was revolving too - stood in front of a smaller computer monitor. Someone was hunched in it, typing away on the keyboard frantically, with a notebook open on the table in front of her. The only sounds in the room were the clacks of the keyboard and random wolf noises, coupled with a David Attenborough narration. Curious, I went over to the girl at the computer. I stared at the website loaded. Wattpad? What's that? And who is this kid?

Then, I looked at the girl. She was wearing a baggy brownish shirt and shorts, and was listening to music through her headphones. I peered once more at the screen. Matthew's POV... Huh? What? Is that ME? I took a step back and crashed into the black office chair. The girl noticed - who wouldn't? - and spun around to face me. She ripped down her headphones hurriedly. "You're here! Finally!" she yelled. I blinked for a while. "Who are YOU?" I demanded. "I'm Wolfie! Uhh... Your creator, sort of, I guess, in a way, probably," she rushed out.

"My what?" I stared at her in disbelief. She was no more than thirteen? Twelve? But this 'Wolfie' seemed not to be lying. "Creator, author, writer-of-lame-books, depressed kid writing about a depressed guy, evil mastermind and all-rounded nutcase," Wolfie intoned in a bored tone. Wait, what? "I write about you. Emily. 9R. Everyone... Like, I kind of control your life?" she suggested. How can she control my LIFE? I've never seen her before! Well, this is cool, though.

I scowled a little skeptically. "How do I know I can trust you?" I asked, folding my arms. She shrugged. "You can't. I'm not exactly the most trustable person. But I don't lie, and I can prove that I'm not." She spun around in her chair to face the computer again and typed: I sat in the old, greyish chair a little reluctantly, before sighing in resignation. To my surprise, I found myself doing just that. "What is this? Some kind of weird... weird science or magic or-" She smiled unsettlingly. "Just tell me!" I insisted.

"As I said, I control your life... I made you from scratch in my head. You turned out well, if I do say so myself! I control all the Jemily and Matthily and-" I bolted up at her words. "What's Matthily and Jemily?" She froze. "Ahh... Well... Umm..." I continued to glare at her. She flushed - to my surprise - and grabbed the computer mouse. "Okay, okay, I'll show you something," she muttered. Wolfie clicked a video that was in a folder labelled Ships In ADJMS that was located in the file ADJMS. The screen blacked out. "It'll start in five seconds..."

The screen displayed Wolfie, in the same room. "Hi! I'm Wolfie, author of Apples Don't Just Mean School, and I'm going to show you all the lovely ships in ADJMS!" The real Wolfie groaned. Video-Wolfie grinned. "First, Jemily..." A second - or third? - Wolfie in a red hoodie and ripped jeans joined Narrator-Wolfie. "Umm... I'm Jemily, which is Jared and Emily and I'm really sweet but I'm sort of socially awkward so..." She hid behind NW, who patted her head and passed her a cookie.

"Next, Louiane!" Another Wolfie walked 'onstage', in a high-waisted shirt and a blouse. "Hey, I'm Louis and Diane's ship. I always debate and I'm really sarcastic. But I'm still well-liked by everyone, so meh," she explained, before pulling Jemily-Wolfie out from behind her hiding place and into view. "Third, Tylie!" A smaller version of Wolfie in jean shorts and a white graphic T-shirt ran out. "I'm Tylie! I'm popular and, like, EVERYONE is my friend. I'm smart and all..." She beamed at the camera. "Oh, I'm Tyler and Nat Lemon, by the way."

Narrator-Wolfie coughed. "Ahem. Okay, now it's Huntia!" No one came out. Louiane had to reach out and yank a blushing Wolfie from the side. "I'm H-Huntia, Hunter and Olivia, and I'm r-really s-shy so I'll b-be going away n-now..." She ran off the set. All of the ships sighed. "Well, that SHOULD be all the main ships so-" Tylie frowned. "Wait, there's still one more!" NW sighed. "Do we have to? You all KNOW what she's like..." At the unspoken answer, NW slumped. "Fine, fine... Finally, there's Matthily."

A Wolfie, dressed in jeggings, a black hoodie that was unzipped to show a Coldplay T-shirt and a silver necklace, jumped out whooping. "Yeah! Methyl! Sin! Fluff! Awkward cuteness! Mattie totes loves Emily! Whoo HOO!" She threw randomly-shaped cookies everywhere, before jumping around yelling some more. "She isn't usually THIS high," Jemily remarked quietly, dodging a cookie. "Matthew and Emily is so canon! Ship! Ship! Ship! Matthily FTW!" she squealed.

I blinked. Me and Em? 'Matthily'? Seriously? Real-Wolfe switched the computer off. "So... Uhh... Yeah, I do this in my spare time and make your life fun!" she explained. I gave her The Look, before grabbing her shoulders. "Give... Me... Back... Emily!" I yelled, shaking her. She cringed. "Ahh... No can do... She's supposed to say in Manhatten..." she tried. I shook her harder. "Damn it! I want my Em back! She will be so much happier back with SCH!" I insisted.

She winced. "Okay, okay, I'll see what I can do... Now, it's... uhh... time for you to wake up and forget this ever happened! It's a dream! And I'll make you forget it when you wake up, and you'll only remember small snippets!" I released my death grip on Wolfie. "Fine. Just return Emily to us." Since when was Emily mine anyway? Argh, I bet this Woflie will probably make my life worse again. At least I'll see Emily again. But I'm going to forget this ever happened... So no difference.

A/N: This is a random chapter that I thought of. Well, this is the important bit: I will be taking votes on whether Matthew will survive AND if Emily should come back to visit SCH and 9R. So if you want Mattie to survive, comment "TeamAlive" and if you want Emily to go back, comment "TeamComeback" okay? One vote per person only per category. Thanks, and good day!
