A/N: Yay, chapter ten~

Emily's POV

That was so cliche, I can't believe it happened in real life... That was awkward and TERRIBLE! Almost everyone in the row was watching... I would have rather been injured. I was awake in the middle of the night, shooting up awake after the weird, Shakespearean dream. But you sort of liked it, didn't you? A little voice in me whispered. Shut up, me. Don't think nonsense. It injured my pride... I know, I'm too proud, and I can't stand embarrassment, but this is, like, OVERBOARD!

I rolled onto my side, hugging a bolster. Stupid Alexander Steinfield. I've got the damn board meeting tomorrow. He'll talk about all sorts of crap, eventually just ending up boasting about himself. What a joke. I scowled in the darkness. Bloody moron. I kicked off the sheets and lay, spreadeagled, on the cold bed. I can't sleep, now that I'm awake already... I rolled out of bed and got a cup of good milk, then stood on the balcony, enjoying the cool night wind. A few scattered lights dotted the city scape: the city was awakening.

Matthew's POV

I flipped a pancake and let the pale side turn light, toasted brown. PANCAKESSSSSSSSS~ The clock ticked 5 am. Pancakes are nice... Pancakes are YUMMY~ I slipped the beautiful pancake onto the plate. The frying pan was tossed into the sink, and I brought the plate of steaming, buttery pancakes to the table. Picking up a fork, I dug into the glorious food. BEAUTIFUL PANCAKES~

This Time Skip is brought to you by Charis Skai, who requested this!

Olivia's POV

"Alright, all who hasn't stood up today, you jolly well STAND UP NOW!" Ms Emily yelled, startling me out of my seat. A few sheepish-looking people slowly creaked up from their chairs. "Answer one question correctly, THEN you can sit," she continued, then plopped back down into the blue swivel chair. "Well? 9R, stop wasting my time!" she snapped peevishly.

"No one is standing? Fine. I don't want to waste my time here." Ms Emily stood up abruptly and started packing her things. Oh my God, she's actually doing it... A cold feeling crept upon my head. Oh no oh no she's angry... This is scary... No, Ms Emily! Come back... Ahh, crap she's walking into the lift... The entire class, which was rowdy just a few moments ago, had a deathly silence over it.

Lisa's POV (same time)

Ms Fox actually walked out of the class! Oh my GOD we are so dead tomorrow... I should have stood... Oh no... She's gone? Ah, crap.

Victoria's POV

The class started to talk again. Have they not learnt our lesson? "Guys, shut up, we're still in disgrace! Let's just conduct oral practice anyway..." Elizabetha called out, a little angry. Raphael echoed the request and stood up to present, English notebook in hands. We fell silent once more. "I'm doing the question on the reading one... I agree, as..."

Emily's POV (same time)

I am so disappointed in them. It's nearly examination time and they aren't cooperating! I bet they are fooling around now in class! Ungrateful... I fumed and slid behind my desk, plonking my bag down hard enough to turn heads. "Emily? Isn't it your period with 9R?" Matthew asked, walking over. "It should be... Until they refused to behave," I muttered, taking out my notepad and writing, hoping he would get the hint.

He didn't.

Matthew sighed. "So you stormed out of class and came down here, leaving them to their own devices?" he asked reproachfully. I nodded stiffly, still scribbling notes. Go away, Matthew... I don't WANT to blow up in your face. I pleaded mentally. "Well, they were unresponsive and noisy, and it got so out of hand, and I got angry... Urgh! It's so IRRITATING. I spend all my time working for their benefit and they don't repay my effort in any way!" I burst out. Before he could talk, I continued. "I know, I should give freely, being a teacher. But it's AWFUL how they are so... IRRESPONSIBLE for their own learning!"

I calmed down after the rant and sighed. "Matthew, please, just leave me alone, I'm going to scream any moment now if you don't go." He looked a little shocked, but complied and trudged away. Finally... Oh man, I'm feeling guilty now. I shouldn't have left... But I won't go back. They should LEARN.

Matthew's POV

Emily is really angry. I wonder how the kids managed to rile her up so much? Should I go check on them? But my next class is in fifteen minutes... Oh, bugger, it's on the same level. Allons-y! I took my laptop and notebook, then went up to level seven to check on the students...  When I arrived at the lift landing, I was surprised to see Joseph Kirkland in the front, talking about something while referring to a notebook.

As I approached closer, I could catch a few phrases. "Irresponsible... Pet... Has life too... Texas, USA... Maybe you can't visualise... Ten years... New York..." When he saw me outside, he quickly broke off in the middle of a sentence. "9R, Ms Emily was really angry in the Staff Room and said you all were rowdy and not cooperating. What happened?" I asked in a cool, reasonable tone. Now, I shall know what made her so angry...

"We didn't stand up during oral practice and she got angry, then went out of the room," Hunter (Clarkson) confessed on behalf of the class. At his words, they grew quiet, waiting for my judgement. "Well," I began, choosing my words carefully, "you kids shouldn't have done that. True,  Ms Emily has a sharp temper, but you largely contributed to the situation." They stayed as quiet as before.

"Why don't you continue, but I'll sit in until your recess? You all have ten more minutes..." I suggested, and plopped down at the back. "But you guys HAVE to apologise to Ms Emily tomorrow, okay?"

A/N: I'm so bad at writing filler chapters... Especially the pancake part. Ugh. Anyway, thank you all for helping this little story reach 500 over reads at this time of publishing! I'm so happy~ cookies to all!

Emily: I'm still waiting for that apology, 9R.

Oh, sorry, we'll say sorry tomorrow, right guys?
