Who's Austin Mahone Anyways?

Chapter Nine

"How are the Spurs the best team in the NBA?" I practically yelled at Robert.

"They just are!" He argued.

"I will admit the Celtics aren't good anymore, but before they all left, we were championship material." I said as I fought my side.

"Lakers." Cole said joining the argument.

"Cole, shut up and sit down." Alex said. He was on Austin's side, saying the Heat were the best. Andrew agreed with them too. Zach was with Robert rooting for the Spurs.

"Lakers are only talked about because of Kobe and how he's so great. They're a publicity team that hipsters rep because they want to be cool." I said.

"Heat are still the best. Going for three this year." Austin said.

"But, the Heat stole all the good players and created a fantasy team in real life." Cole said.

"That's the only reason why they're good Cole.." I said. Everyone agreed.

"But you have to admit the Heat were smart getting all of them together." Andrew pointed out. We all agreed and dropped the subject before one of strangled someone.

Having Austin around was a little weird at first, but after the first couple hours everyone had calmed down and acted normal again. Alex suggested we watched a movie, we got ten minutes in and were bored then someone brought up basketball and we got into our disagreement.

"So how's Miami bro?" Robert asked Austin.

"Good. Those girls are still stalking me a little bit but hey, comes with the deal." He said laughing.

"You have girls that stalk you?" I asked.

"Yeah. It was okay seeing them like a couple of times but now it's like three days a week that they're outside of the studio." Austin said.

"That's creepy." I said.

"No, they just 'love' me." He said shrugging.

"Pretty crazy that our friend made it big.. I'll never forget they day you were like 'I have record companies asking about me.' That was surreal." Zach said. His blonde hair was messy and sticking up in all directions, I could see the light reflecting off his watch.

"I mean, it was surreal for Alex and I to get a thousand views on our lip-syncing videos." Austin said.

"You have lip-syncing videos?" I said laughing.

"Don't judge, we were fourteen!" Alex stood up for them, a defensive look on his face. He had just cut his hair and you could really tell he and Andrew were brothers now. They had the same eyes, round and brown.

"I have to see these." I said grabbing my phone.

"Oh no.." Alex and Austin said in unison.

I clicked on the video of them lip-syncing Friday by Rebecca Black. It started playing and right off the bat I began to die of laughter. Austin's face was priceless and they looked so young compared to now.

"This is perfection. I can't believe you guys posted this, why would you post this?" I laughed.

"It seemed like a good idea at the time." Austin said.

"Oh my god, Robert you did one too?" I asked as I went to the one of Breaking Free from High School Musical.

"No, no, no. Let's not watch that one." Robert said coming over to me. I quickly moved away and started watching the video. it was even better than the last. 

"You guys really go into that.." I said at the end after I was done laughing.

"You know, a lot of people liked that one." Robert said.

"I didn't say I didn't like it, I loved it." I said laughing. "It makes me feel better about myself." I added sarcastically.

"Oh, Maddie's a mean one!" Austin said with too much tone for my liking.

"You're just getting a preview." I said giving him a narcissistic smile.

We were playing basketball with the hoop on Alex's door, I was losing since I all of a sudden became an elf compared to Austin and Robert, but it was still pretty fun.

"You know what the best game ever to play with a bunch of people is?" I asked suddenly.

"What?" Alex asked.

"Clue!" I replied. "You gotta have it! We have to play!"

"There aren't enough characters for all of us." Austin pointed out.

"Yeah, we're two short." Alex said.

"Darn." I said.

"You know what a good game to play with a bunch of people is?" Robert said.

"What?" I asked, as if it was going to better than Clue.

"Truth or dare." He replied with an evil grin.

"I'm down." Austin said. Everyone agreed and thus began the game that changed everything.
