~Sweet Revenge~

Chapter Twenty-One: Sweet Revenge

     Where's Ben?" asked Carlos. "I don't know," Jay replied "We've been looking for him everywhere." Jane looked down, "We've had no luck either." Lonnie shook her head, "What is even going on?" Carlos shrugged, "What the villains have been planning for 20 years... revenge."

     Suddenly, the four heard a slight noise: psst. They looked around, searching for the source. Pssssssst! "Ben?" Jane called. "Over here!" He whisper-shouted. He was hiding underneath a table in the dining area. Lonnie lifted up the table cloth, "Ben. We've been looking for you everywhere! The villains are covering the streets. We don't know what to do!" He stood up, "I know! I know! I'm sorry, I ran into Gaston and Gil."
     Carlos took a step forward, "You didn't happen to see my mother... did you?" Ben shook his head, "No. I haven't had time to go out or even think of a plan since it started. But don't worry, I won't let her take you." He put his hands on his shoulders. "We're with you, Ben." Carlos beamed. "I need to find Mal." Ben said "Maybe I can figure out what's going through her head."
     What do you want us to?" Lonnie questioned. "Find Quinn, Marissa, Francis, and Hugh. I want to make sure they're not up to anything either." Jay scoffed, "Why do I get the feeling they are?"

     Who knew finding someone in a big crowd would be so hard?" says Marissa. The other three VKs only rolled their eyes. "I'm so sick of this!" Francis exclaimed. "What now?" Quinn asked. "I hate taking orders. As if my dad didn't do it enough. I hate living stuck in someone else's shadow." Quinn replied, "Boo-hoo. You've spent the whole time we've been here whining and complaining. You're not the only one who has parent issues. My mother threaten to cut off my head! Not that I think she'd actually do it, but all she'd ever do is tell me to do everything for her!"
      Yeah! And my mother spent pretty much my entire life comparing me to Rapunzel. Like, sorry I don't have 50-feet of magic hair!" Marissa added. "And I can't even remember the last time I saw my father." says Hugh "But even when I did see him, all he wanted to talk about was his revenge. Never, 'Oh, how are you?' 'Oh, I missed you, son.' 'I'm proud of you son.'" He paused, "Life sucks... for everyone. It doesn't make it any easier or better on you, but you're not the only one. That's why I'm not doing the revenge on Elsa, Anna, Ella and Ava my father wants me to do. I'm having my own revenge on Belle, Beast, Ban and everyone else who separated me and my father and trapped us on that island. What about you guys? What are you gonna do?"
     I've known forever." says Quinn "But now I can actually do it." Marissa jumped up, "Me too!" Francis stood there for a while, "I'm sorry... friends." Quinn rolled her eyes, "Okay. Enough mushy stuff... we get it, now let's go!"
     Not so fast!" called a voice from behind them. They whirled around. It was Carlos, Jay, Lonnie, and Jane. "You're not doing anything." Jay says. Marissa was about to say something, but Francis put his hand up, "Ahem... I don't know what you're talking about." Jay took a step closer, "I'm pretty sure you do." Francis did the same, "You... have.. no... proof." They we're now face to face, "Oh yeah? The guards watching weren't enough?"
     A group of guards came out from behind bushes and trees to come arrest them. "Come on, guys." says Carlos "You're outnumbered. Surrender without any trouble." Francis only smirked, "Oh, when would you ever know us without trouble?" Francis grabbed a handful of gray sand from inside his jacket pocket and threw it on the ground, a cloud of smoke blinded everyone and caused them to cough, but when it cleared, the VKs were gone.

     Do you want to get your petty revenge on Sleeping Beauty and Phillip?" Hades antagonized Maleficent. She only rolled her eyes, "It's not petty. What you with Hercules is normal? He's not even here, is he?" Hades chuckled, "Okay, first of all, my Vendetta is against my stupid older brother Zeus, secondly, Hercules ended my rein over the underworld... so that's not petty! I'm not crying because I wasn't invited to a stupid party!" Maleficent gasped, "Well, at least the plan I had worked. She fell asleep. He didn't become fully human!" Hades threw his hands in the air, "Ah! It's henchman fault. If you-" "STOP!" Mal exclaimed "Just stop. Look... there they are."
     Sure enough, Aurora, Philip, and Audrey were on there way into a limo with bags in their hand. "Surely off to escape through the Sherwood Forest. Well never find them again. We need to strike now!" whispered Mal. "Hang on, dear. I think we should follow them. Give me that." Mal hesitated to hand it over, but eventually gave her mom the spell-book. Maleficent flipped through the pages, "This might now be entirely accurate. It has been a while." She whispered the words and waved her hand. She cackled quietly, "There. Now we'll be able to track them and their car won't be able to be controlled. When they have to get out, that's when we'll strike. Even better in the woods when they can't run knowing where they're going."
     Everything Maleficent said had occurred and soon Audrey, Aurora, and Philip were alone in the middle of the woods, defenseless against them. Maleficent cackles, "I've been waiting for this for a very long time!"

     Mom! Dad! I don't know what to do!" cries Ben "They're everywhere! And I can't find Mal anywhere... she's... gone back to her roots and I don't know what to do." Belle placed her hand under his chin, "Listen to your heart, Ben. You're a great king and you'll be able to save us. You just have to be strong." Adam places his hands on his sons shoulders, "We always feared something like this would happen. That's why we have-"
