"It's alright, Grandma. I'll cook for dinner,"my sister insisted.
"Nevermind, you just came here. I want to cook for you. Besides, I've already cooked for us while you were taking a nap."
"Oh, really. We'll get the table ready then,"she smiled at Grandma.
My sister and I set up the dining table together. I suddenly missed my parents, my family. I can't really remember the last time we had dinner together. It has been long since my sister and I had set the table for our family.
I sighed at first. I missed my parents so much. Too much that it hurts. Nonetheless, I smiled anyway. I still have my sister here with me. I couldn't ask for more.
My sister then giggled at me, "Why are you smiling, you've got something to share?"
It was good to see her smile. At least she's alright for now. "It's nothing. Let's call grandma and grandpa before the food turns cold,"I replied and quickly changed the subject.
All of us sat on the table and ate our food. The food tastes as good as ever. This is the reason my granparents' restaurant is pretty famous.
Both of them were good cookers. Just like my parents. Hmmph. I missed my mother's food.
"Kiera, are you alright? You don't look so good,"my grandfather questioned.
"Oh, I'm fine."I snapped out of my thoughts and continued to eat my food.

The next morning, I was woken up by my sister.
"It's still early, let me sleep for a few minutes," I mumbled in my pillow.
"Come on, you have to help me cook breakfast before grandma and grandpa leaves."
I sat up slowly and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. "What time is it exactly?"I yawned.
"It's quarter past five. Now go get your shower." She helped me get off of bed and pushed me gently into the bathroom. I looked at my sister before closing the door. She was all ready for the morning. She's a very hardworking person and she had never showed her lazy side to anyone. That's why she's studying abroad on a scholarship. I wish I was more like her.
"Why are you staring? Now hurry up and get a shower. What? You want me to help you shower?"she teased and giggled.
"No, no. Go away,"I said and closed the door. I giggled quietly by myself in the bathroom. It was nice to have her back.
--
"Kiera, do you know where is the rice and the soy sauce?"my sister asked while screening through the inside of the refrigerator."I think were out of them,"I replied. "I'll go get some at the store. I'm going now. I'll be back in a while." I stepped outside of the house and walked to the nearest convenience store.
I almost grabbed the instant rice when my phone vibrated. It was a text from my sister.
Cassie : I found them already so you don't have to buy them
Kiera : Alright. But do we have ramen?
Cassie : No, I don't think so. Buy more for me
Cassie : Thanks :')
Kiera : Sure^^
Now where's the ramen. I scanned through the store and there it is. When I walked a few stepped backwards, I bumped into someone.
"Oh, sorry. I'm very sorry," I muttered to the person while bowing.
"It's alright,"that person said.
When I stood back straight, my heart beat so fast. It was Mark.
"Oh, hey Kiera. We meet again,"he said, smiling.
"Hey, Mark. Yes, here we are,"I said, a little bit in shock.
"Should we talk for awhile?"he asked.
"Oh, sure," I said, lacking confidence. I'm starting to get all my feels but it's not really kicking since I am not in the condition to. My parents were gone. I don't deserve to be so lucky to meet Mark again right?
We sat outside on a bench near the store.
"I can't be here for long though, my sister's waiting for me at home," I started. I was trying to control my breathing a little because he was sitting so near to me.
"Tsk, me too,"he said. Of course, he can't be recognised by his fans.
"So are you doing fine?"I asked.
"Mhm hmm, are you alright though?"he asked slowly and the smile he had earlier was gone.
Suddenly I saw a small girl on the road, with her parents holding each her hand. I'm jealous of her. I felt the hurt in my heart striking and my eyes started to become wet.
I kept quiet for awhile before answering him. I wanted to say. I wanted to tell him that I was doing fine. That I was doing great. But I'd be lying. "I'm not fine, Mark. I'm not doing fine at all,"I said to him as if I was whispering. But he heard it all. Tears started to run down my cheeks vigorously as if it was raining.
Mark saw me crying and patted my shoulder. "It's alright to cry."
"Oh my, I'm sorry. How shameless of me to cry in front of you," I said and wiped my eyes. But the tears couldn't stop flowing.
Suddenly Mark held me close to his chest, "It's alright, Kiera. I'm here. Cry all you want. I will always be your listener."
I was shocked at first but I had been trying to smile so hard these days. The pain still badly hurt me. I couldn't think of anything else at that time. All I knew was that I cried so hard in Mark's arms. I was actually embarrased but he's right. He was here. And I felt as if I can finally let all my sorrow out. He was here, beside me.
//
Hello there. Might've realised that Mark hasn't been present in this story since chapter 5. (And it's already chapter 13 now.) But hold up, he's back and I'm going to be showering you guys with an ocean of Mark Tuan :))) but the only thing is that, there's only one Mark Tuan in this world. The Mark Tuan so I don't know how to figure that out.
Hmm, that's all of my talk for now. Annyeong?
Btw I'm doing a triple update again for today :)28/11/16, Monday
