A week later

It was the day before Aunt Hani's wedding. Jennie and I as well as her other relatives were at the wedding hall of a hotel.

We were just checking the last bits of the preparation before the wedding ceremony tomorrow.

Everything seemed ready and the most attractive part is the modern looking wedding dais which sat at the front of the wedding hall.

It was white and red. The colour was strong. So as their love for each other, I hoped.

It was time for lunch and Jennie's family had offered me to eat at the hotel's buffet.

I accepted the offer and we were already seated.

"Before we start eating, I would like to congratulate the future groom and bride for the wedding they are going to hold tomorrow," Jennie's father announced.

Everyone clapped and that was when I saw Aunt Hani and his future husband, Kim Minseok.

My heartbeat accelerated with adrenaline. I was excited that I finally got the chance to meet him. I wanted to go to him but I couldn't. Not now. Maybe I'll approach him tomorrow when I see him again and personally talk to him. It would be a once in a lifetime chance!

I was smiling hard and continued to enjoy my lunch.

"What dress colour are you going to wear tomorrow?"Jennie, who was sitting next to me asked.

"The red one that my mother had just sewed for me,"I answered.

"Oh that one, it's matching with the wedding theme,"she smiled.

We finished eating and finally it was time to go.

"Thank you for the meal,"I thank Jennie's father and went back home.

At home I laid on my bed thinking about my life. I guess we've all had imaginations to marry an idol and I was not an exception.

I have been thinking all day about it. Honestly, I think that Aunt Hani is very lucky to get a korean idol as her husband. She wasn't really into kpop but as I said she was as lucky as ever.

It's amazing how Kim Minseok is in LA right now and is even marrying Jennie's aunt, whom we are close to. Her age is not even that far from us. Jennie and I are 18 and Aunt Hani is only 21.

Maybe our gap difference is close but she's still Jennie's aunt. Like people say 'age is just a number'.

Amazing though, she's getting married at a young age and Kim Minseok is already 27.

I wonder how they got together.

This all goes back to when I was thinking about Mark. He is from LA but he's busy in Korea at the moment.

I'm starting to miss him. But then again I was only a fan and a friend. Well, when did missing someone became a sin?

It was finally the day of Aunt Hani's wedding and I was getting ready in my room.

I slipped into the red under knee length laced-dress and applied some powder and lip balm.

I looked at the reflection in the mirror and held the heart and key pendant of the necklace I had on in my hands.

It was a gift from my father and I love it so much. He once told me that the pendant holds a whole lot of hidden meanings and I believed him.

I made sure I looked fine and tiptoed out from my room.

My parents were already on the front door waiting for me.

"You look pretty in that dress,"my mother was touched because this was my first time wearing the dress she had sewed for me.

"Let's get going then," I said and we were off to the wedding.

At the wedding hall, we were the firsts to come. Jennie's parents, her grandparents and Kim Minseok's parents were also there.

I have only just realised that they were going with the Korean wedding tradition. It was my first time seeing Jennie's grandmother wearing a hanbok alongside with who I believed was Kim Minseok's mother. They were waiting at the etrance to greet the guests along with Kim Minseok's father and Jennie's grandfather. They looked close.

I went to Aunt Han's room and there she was with a wedding dress. I called her name when I went in the room and she turned to see me.

She was so beautiful and her eyes were teary.

"Hey Aunt Hani. Congratulations on your marriage. And you look so beautiful,"I told her.

"Thanks, Kiera. I look okay right?"she asked and her eyes were even more wet.

"Yes. You look better than okay."I said to her.

She wiped her wet eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm so happy right now."

I told that it was alright to cry and that I was happy for her too. I hugged her and she hugged me back. Maybe she wasn't my real aunt but we were as close as sisters.

I stayed for awhile and headed to my next destination. The groom's room.

I entered the room and Kim Minseok lifted his head up from his phone.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Kim Minseok Oppa." I greeted him.

"Hey, you're Kiera right? Hani told me a lot about you."he said in Korean.

"Really? I'm so happy to meet you and I am a fan of yours."

"Oh! Then I'll be willing to do some fan service for you."

I asked for his autograph and we took some pictures together. I was so happy!

We also talked for awhile and he told me the thing I didn't even know about Aunt Hani. And it turns out that she had Korean blood and that means Jennie has Korean blood too but I don't think she's aware of that. Wow, we are very much alike. Back to the main point, Aunt Hani's grandparents as well as Aunt Hani herself can speak Korean but not the other family members, not even Jennie's parents.

I had fun with Kim Minseok and I was so excited to be with him.

But then, to be honest I love Mark more as a fan but when I met him, the way he affects me was completely different.

"I'll get going now. The ceremony is starting. Oh congratulations and please look after my aunt well!"I told him and rushed out of the room. Jennie's probably looking for me.
