Chapter 21: Notice Me, Senpai.

King's POV

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Just as I heard Hazen scream, I quickly ran and opened the door to her room. And there she is. Hugging her knees tightly while crying, looking at me shocked and scared as hell.

"What the fuck is going on?"

Snapping out of her shock state upon my entrance, she looked back in front of her and push herself deeper into the headboard. She shut her eyes and screamed like a banshee.

And then I saw the cats in front of her. Fuck.

I went to her side and picked her up bridal style. She quickly curled into a tight ball around me, still crying. I can even feel and hear her rapid heartbeat.

Going out of her room, I shut it close and went to my room instead then placed her down on my bed softly. I probably look calm but inside, I was raging in anger. Fuck those cats, they'll pay for this. As I was about to go back to her room to get rid of those cats, she held my wrist to stop me.

"No, no. Please, don't leave me." She said in a mantra with her eyes shut.

As much as I want to kill those cats, I guess that can wait. I just can't leave her alone, and putting her first is my topmost priority. "I won't."

I laid myself beside her and pull the sheets over us. I hesitantly pulled her close to me, thinking she will throw me out of the bed in an instant I laid my hands on her. Instead, I was surprised when she did the exact opposite of my thought and she buried her body closer to mine.

I hitched a breath but keep my self control despite the fact that I can feel her warmth and her body. I'm trying my self not to take her right here, right now. She's still crying though, and the best that I can do for now is to comfort her and stay by her side, be considerate and keep my selfish thoughts aside.

That's what a real man would do for the only love of his life.

Hazen's POV

I woke up jerkily and was surprised when I woke up to another room. Then I remember King took me here.

Oh hell no.

I remember the cats as well.

Sigh, King's not here. Which means I'm alone and.. Helpless.. Oh no. What if the cats were still here and they just followed King last night? I cautiously look around the room and sat on the edge of the bed.

I can't help but hug my knees, laid my head on it, and cry like a weak girl. Which I'm not, I swear. It's just that.. What the hell? I was freaking scared as hell last night and I still am. Why the hell those monsters appeared in my room? And who the hell do that? And for what reason? There's so many questions running on my mind -- as well as the word hell. But I don't have any answers to all of it.

"Shh, don't cry Liebe."

Raising my head, there stood No One in front of me. He cupped my chin then wiped out my tears with his gloved hands. I didn't notice that before, even when I held it last night.

"If you're worrying about the cats last night, they're already gone."

I softly held his wrists and close my eyes. I'm somewhat kind of feeling secured with No One here. "What? How?"
