I woke up at around 8 in the night. I was really tired even though i only woke up at about 12.30 in the afternoon and slept again at 4 in the evening
I kind of skipped dinner so my stomach kept rumbling. I first took off my jeans and changed into my night clothes,a t shirt with shorts.(that's basically my uniform at home now.)
I jogged down to the kitchen and raided the entire kitchen to find something to eat. I found a pack of goldfish and some microwaveable mac and cheese.
I heated up my mac and cheese. While waiting for my food, i took out some orange juice and poured it into a glass.
I did not even care if any of the food did not go together. I just needed to tame the monster which was my stomach.
I went back to my room and took out my laptop to watch Netflix.

I started gobbling down my food while watching Grey's Anatomy.A few minutes into the show, my phone buzzed . It was a notifiaction from instagram.To my surprise, it was a comment from Marcus, my crush. He had posted a comment on my recent picture and I was internally freaking out. My heart started racing crazy. I felt like Butterflies- no a whole zoo was having a party inside my stomach. I took deep breaths. It kind of helped me to calm down a little- just a little.
I tapped on the notification and waited impatiently.

He posted that on one of the selfies i took with Sapphire. Cute? Did he call me cute. Or was sapphire?
But either way he commented on my picture! My heart starting racing wildly. I immediately called sapphire.
Me: ahhhhhhhhh
Sapphire: oh my god, did you get raped or something.
Me: what, no!
Sapphire: Then, why the hell are you screaming?

And we talked non-stop about shit like that.
I let out a yawn. I was getting sleepy. I checked the time and it was 11.30 in the night. Wow, time passed so quickly. I told her it was getting late and should get to sleep.
We reluctantly hung up. It took me a while for me to sleep. Marcus was on my mind. --------------------------------
A few weeks later
It was finally the day of the carnival. I was reluctant to participate but i had no choice. I just had to get over this and move on with my life.
My mom had gone shopping and bought me a cute dress to wear on the day of the carnival. It was too short for my liking but i had to agree.
It was a dress which was blue at the bottom and was and white strapless at the top. To pair it off i wore some white pumps. I also curled my hair and put on lip gloss and mascara.
I almost forgot i had to pick Sapphire up.
I took my car keys off my dresser and drove to her house. I texted her to notify her that i had arrived . Not long after, Sapphire could be seen bouncing to my car.
She had natural wavy hair which she decided not to curl and was wearing a blush pink romper. Her smooth long tan legs climbed on to the car seat. She looked like wanted to impress someone.

" Damn girl," I complimented. Her cheeks flushed into a light pink color and thanked me.
Then i drove off to school. In a couple of minutes we arrived to the park. There were many types of booths .They were all very bright abd colorful to attract customers.
I had yet to set up my booth.
I went to the place where im supposed to be kissing random people for ten bucks. There was not much things i had to set up .There was a foldable table and a dark blue silk cloth. I set the table up and put the blue cloth on top of it to cover up the ugly table . Then i put a mason jar at the middle of the table to collect the money. They also had three plastic chairs to sit on i put two chairs at the booth for me and Jessica to sit on and the last chair to Sapphire so her legs dont get tired. Sapphire took the chair and placed in at a corner and sat down. My mom came not long after and she gave a banner which just said kissing booth.
" Look im really sorry honey. I know i havent been the best mother in the past few weeks, making you unwillingly volunteer in the kissing booth, " She apologised. Sighing, " What can you do to change that now?" I asked looking into her blue eyes that i inherited.
She gave me a weak smile and kissed my forehead. "Im really sorry honey, " she apologised again. "You better go now," i mumbled looking at my feet. She gave me one last look and walked away.
Not long after Jessica came. She had worn too much makeup and pink skirt was wayyy too short if im being honest.
Meh, it wasn't new.
" You can take this chair," i said politely but that bitch said whatever and sat down on the chair.
There were not many people yet but i had a feeling there would be more soon.
A few minutes had passed, and I saw him.
