Chapter 9

Atina POV

Justin pulled us to a table where guys were half naked and grinding on girls and were wearing skimpy clothes. No surprise there. They started playing and i backed out as i remembered that i was the designated driver for the night. Sapphire could enjoy but i couldn't. Poor me. Not.

I just babysitted sapphire watching over her hoping she wouldn't do anything dumb as usual.

I just watched how the party was. How horny the guys and girls were,trying to get laid with someone they have never met. Honestly, i would never hook up with somebody i have never met giving up my virginity just like that with someone that's leave me the next morning after getting what he wants. I guess i just don't like the feeling of being a tissue paper, getting thrown after use but that's my opinion.

Sapphire is also like that she might act like she would get on with any guy but she actually won't, she has common sense and me to advice her about how wrong and dangerous it is.

Sapphire is a really shy girl but once you get to know her, you're just like 'that's the girl that i called shy?"

After having more weird thoughts and thinking about weird shit i finally stood up and stretched.

"WOOOOO! THIS SHIT IS LIT!!" I heard Sapphire say. She held up a red cup and drank more of it. Sapphire probably drank 5 cups of that alcoholic beverage. I tried pursue her to stop drinking but she refused to listen to me.

Stubborn bitch.

I drank only two cups of sprite mixed with beer so the taste of the beer would be less strong. To be honest i didnt get why teenagers would break the law just to drink this shit. Hell, i don't how my best friend gulped it down , saying " this shit is lit ".

A few moments later, Marcus came up to me. " Atina, right?" He confirmed. I nodded my head in agreement. I guess i don't have a crush on marcus anymore since i have a liking towards justin now.

We talked and laughed for about a good hour. Marcus is really funny and his 'storytimes' are fucking hilarious.

"Me and my friends used to go to a mall after school in 7th grade. We used to always act like we were high on drugs and laugh like fucking hyenas. One day we were daring each other and i was dared to try a pick up line on a cute girl and since it was a dare i couldn't back out. I used it on her and she it was a cute pick up line buuuuut no thanks. My friends were just laughing their asses off laughing at me getting rejected."

Marcus made me laugh so hard that i thought i was going to get abs. Why did he have to talk to me after i have a crush on justin? Urgh.

We talked for about few more minutes before he asked me for my number and if i wanted to hang out together sometime. Of course i agreed because he was an amazing guy. Who wouldn't want to hang out with him?

I checked my phone to see the time and it was 9.30pm. Wow, time went by fast talking to Marcus. Thats when i remembered about sapphire. "Oh fuck, i forgot about sapphire"

"Do you want me to help you find her?" Marcus asked. I politely declined saying i would find her myself.

I went to the table where sapphire was talking or 'flirting' with a blonde guy." All dis wires and you still can't connect with me," I better save her before she does anything more stupid.

"Heyyyyy, sapphire. Let's GO!" i pulled her out from from him and dragged her to my car. "Hey, hey, hey where you guys going? The party isn't over yet until i say so. So you better get your fine ass back into the house," justin came out from the party.

"Oh we-" i started." THAT'S WONDERFUL, now let's go back inside," he cut me off. He wrapped a hand around my shoulders and brought us back to the party.

" Let sapphire have a bit of a freedom, let's leave her alone," justin said as he grabbed a drink from the counter and asked me to drink it all up. I gulped the drink down without even asking what it was cause i was dumb like that. Justin glanced at crowd before looking at me. He stared at my lips before he cleared his throat.

"You wanna go somewhere private?" He asked. Since i was a fucking dumbass (who liked him), i stupidly agreed. 

We went upstairs and stopped in front of a locked door which i assume is his bedroom. We went in and justin closed the door behind us. I sat on the bed, hyperventilating. My hands became sweaty and i wiped them away.

To be alone in a room with the person i like, it was a dream come true. Has god finally answered my wishes?
