Chapter 12

"Hey thanks for the ride home, i really appreciate it," i thanked him. He looked at me with those ocean blue eyes which made my heart go crazy. " Hey, don't worry about it. And i'm sure everything between you and sapphire will be alright," he comforted me. I gave him a weak smile. He gave me a comforting hug which felt so good. I felt so comfortable in his muscular arms and it gave me a very safe and protected feeling. We hugged for a while before we pulled apart. I thanked him once more before he drove away.

I went upstairs to my bed and just laid there staring at my blank ceiling. I was really mad at sapphire but at the same time i was sad. We were friends since grade 4, she was there for me through puberty when i first got my period and she helped me through it. She might be a bitch but she is still my best friend and i will forever and always. The thought of losing her just because of a stupid guy, made my heart ache. I took out phone to send sapphire a text.  Just then, she texted me too.

Sapphire: Sorry for being a total bitch :/

Atina: It's okay, i still love you

Sapphire: Ice cream?

Atina: Ice cream.

We drove to milky house when was open 24/7. We got our favourite in the biggest cup there and stuffed our faces with it. " I was such a bitch, please forgive me and I let anger take over my words- and I'm sorry i hurt you. We shouldn't have let a guy come between us i was just-" Sapphire rambled and rambled. " Let's not care about liam anymore. He is an ass. You know what we should do? Find you a guy that actually cares about you and your feelings b," i cut her off.

I saw sapphire tearing up. She stood up and had her arms out and i stood up and hugged her. "Thank you so much, i love you," Sapphire gratefully said. I rubbed her back in circles and shushed her. " I love you too. Now stop crying. Cause we're going to a party tonight," i said regretting my decision immediately. Where the hell am i going to find a party? " Are you sure? Thank you !" she hugged me harder. " Oof," i said as i felt my rib cage being crushed.

It was 8 in the night and sapphire was getting ready for the party. I was just wearing a pair of ripped jeans, a tee shirt tied in the middle and my old skool vans. I wore some hoop earrings to jazz it up a bit and for my face i wore lip gloss and mascara. Pretty basic but whatever, i wasn't really excited. I was just going to this party for sapphire. Me and parties don't go well.

" You done yet?" i asked sapphire scrolling through my phone. " Almost..." i heard her reply from the bathroom. I didn't believe her because she's been saying that for the past half an hour. I got a text from Justin saying he was already at the party and asked me where i was. Me and Justin really hit off after i asked him if there was any party tonight.

Whenever he flirted with me it made my heart go all wild and crazy but i just guessed it was his personality. Me and Justin were never gonna end up together because we're total opposites. And no don't say opposites attract because this is not a movie or some teen fiction story on wattpad. Those shit only happened in movies and books. Therefore, me and Justin will never happen, not in my wildest dreams. I replied to Justin saying i was still at home because sapphire was getting ready. Justin replied with a sad face emoji and saying he missed me.

I rolled my eyes and smiled as sapphire finished getting ready. She was wearing a bralet with a see through long sleeved black shirt. She wore some fishnets and ripped jeans and wore thick black choker and paired it with some nike air force shoes. I whistled as i saw her. " Dayum my best lookin' like a snacc," i said. She blushed and muttered a thank you. I got my car started and we went off to party.

I texted Justin i was here and me and sapphire went to get a drink. I got a beer as i saw sapphire already hitting off with a guy. I sighed as i scrolled through instagram feeling super bored. One hour passed and i was on to my third can of beer. I felt a bit dozy as i felt an arm around. " Is that you Justin?" i asked. Justin laughed as he sat on the stool opposite me. " Heyyy, It is youuu! I am sooo smart," i giggled. " You sure are drunk," Justin said stating the obvious. " You know you're reallly cute, i think i like you," i blurted out. " like how can anyone not like you, you're incredibly gorgeous, but honestly your personality sucks dicks," I said. " Princess, do you want me to bring you home? You don't look so good," He offered. " I don't look good? Wow thanks for boosting my self esteem up," i rolled my eyes. Justin sighed and threw me over his shoulders. " mhm, you smell sooo goodd," i moaned. Justin put me in his car and buckled me in. " But i don't wanna go homeeee," I groaned. " you're no fun," i huffed , crossing my arms. " But i told my parents i was staying over at sapphire, i can't go home yettt," I said as Justin sighed. Justin drove and I looked out the window staring out the at the scenery. We went to a unfamiliar neighborhood and stopped at a big ass house. Justin got me out and walked me in the house. "Welcome to my house," He said. " Woah, Your house is huggeee!" i stared at in amazement.

He brought me up to what looked like his room and asked me to sit down while he went out to get some fresh clothes for me. I looked around his room. His room walls were grey in colour and for decoration he had some paintings on the wall which looked really expensive. Looks like it costed more than your momma's rent.

He had a desk beside his bed. The desk had some intricate looking drawings. All of them were really good. I took a look at one of them and it was a drawing of a little girl closing her eyes and looked peaceful. She is supposed to be holding something but the drawing was still unfinished. I heard some footsteps outside the door and i quickly sat back in the bed. " I know these clothes are really huge but i couldn't find anything smaller so here you go," he stated as he handed me some sweatpants and a t-shirt that looked like his. " Thank you so much," i said gratefully. He smiled back at me and it was the most beautiful thing i've ever seen in my life. I've never actually seen Justin smile before, he usually had a smirk or had a mischievous smile but to see a genuine smile on his face really made my legs go wobbly and my heart warm with so much .

I walked to the bathroom , my legs still wobbly. I quickly changed out from my clothes. I didn't wear the sweatpants because it covered mid thigh and the pants were way too big. 

I walked back inside his room to see a bare chested justin. His abs were on display and i had to pinch myself to make sure i was not dreaming. " Uh..S-so wh-where am i supposed to sleep?" I asked trying not to blush too much.

" Well you can sleep on my bed. I mean it's nothing harmless right, it's not like we're going to have sex or anything," Justin said which made my heart pang because he probably sees us as just friends. I shook that thought  from my mind and climbed into bed. I felt the bed dip as Justin climbed in. I felt his hands go around my waist and i fell asleep in bliss.
