Chapter 8

Atina's POV

It was THE day.

No not my wedding.

The day of the party.

Justin's party.

I was walking to my English Literature class as my heart was pounding so hard that it might as well fly out of my chest. I was pretty sure everyone around me can hear my heart.

I sat next to sapphire and took out all the necessary things needed for the class. "Hey," i muttered.

"Hey! Are you excited for tonight?" She wiggled her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes at her as i said no.

"Why not? It'll be a chance to loosen up and have fun. And it is also our first party, we have make it so fun that even 20 years later we'll be like 'Ah...Those were the times'."

I shrugged my shoulders as the teacher walked in the class room.

After i went back home and quickly did my homework. Sapphire told me she wanted me to meet her at her house at 5 so we could ready.

I went up to my room and took a 10 minute shower and changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a purple top to top it off i wore a leather jacket as the night would probably be chilly. I took an overnight bag and stuffed a my jammies and other things i needed as I would probably be crashing over at Sapphire's later.

I called my mom to tell her that i was staying at sapphire's so she won't say i didn't tell her. I then drived over to Sapphire's and rang her doorbell. Sapphire's 14 year old brother opened the door and winked at me "Hey there beautiful."

Sapphire brother, Mike always liked to flirt with me and i always blamed it on puberty. He was adorable but he was just too young for me. " Gross, Stop hitting on my friend, she's probably scarred for life," Sapphire came in saving me.

Mike rolled his eyes and walked away. " Sorry 'bout that," Sapphire apologised as we walked up to her room.

" Before anything i have been meaning to say this to you for a while," i started. I took a deep breath," I have a crush on justin,"

"Oh, that's all? I already knew that. Your always looking at him with heart eyes, " Sapphire rolled her eyes. My cheeks warmed up a bit when she mentioned that. " Is it that obvious?"

"Nah, i'm just really observant," She said as she took a look at my outfit. She shook her head in dissatisfaction. " Is that what your going to wear?"

I nodded my head slowly. " Urgh, your so clueless, " she tsked as she went through her closet. She took out a few dresses , tops and skirts.

" Your a bit taller than me so the dresses might be a bit short," She as she handed me a royal blue dress with sequins on it. " Go and try it on,"

I went to the bathroom and changed into it. It was tight at the top and flowed out at the bottom. It made my boobs look so big and i looked like a slut. I came out of the bathroom and showed it to her. " Ew, no," She scrunched her nose.

"Urgh, can i not wear a dress?" I said frustrated. And it was only the first dress. Sapphire shook her head and made me try a bunch of other outfits. Then, we came to a conclusion that i should wear the gold and black dress, it was gold at the top with sequins , black bottom which was flowy and holding it up was a thin string that i had to tie
around my neck.

And to pair it off i borrowed her gold heels that were 2 inches tall. Sapphire helped me do my makeup and gave me a 'natural look' .

Sapphire wore a red dress with two thin strap. It was lacy at the top and flowed down until her mid thighs. To pair it off she wore strappy black heels. As for her makeup she did a smokey eye makeup and put on some dark red lipstick.

It was 8 by the time both of us got ready. That was the longest time i have ever took to get ready. I wasn't planning on to get drunk so we took my car to go to the party.

As seen in the movies, teenagers were seen outside getting drunk and music was blasting loudly. The house was three times as big as my house no doubt since Justin was freaking loaded. We went inside, and as expected the music was making me go deaf. People were grinding against each other and drinking. We pushed through the sweaty bodies as Sapphire wanted to get a drink. She asked the bartender( yes a freaking bartender) a glass of coke. He poured the coke in a glass and gave it to her. We sat on a couch and looked at all the people. She sipped loudly on her coke. " Wow! Its like in the movies" i screamed over the loud music. " She nodded her head vigourously agreeing with me.

After a while we saw liam and justin walking towards us. As usual my heart beat beated faster than usual.Teenage girl problems.

Crushes are the worst but your life is not fun and complete without the exhilarating experience. " Are you having fun? You should really try the ping pong game its lit," Liam said.

"Oh, we are not planning to get drunk tonight," Sapphire declined.

" Awwh, c'mon it'll be fun," Justin tried to pursued us. We reluctantly went to the kitchen where the ping pong game was held. Well, it wouldnt hurt to try.
