Chapter 11

beep beep...
My phone buzzed. I picked it up to see it was 7 in the morning and 'main hoe' was calling.
"This bitch is gonna be the death of me," i mumbled as i picked up the phone. "the fuck do you want?" i answered rather rudely. I'm sorry did she expect a proper greeting for waking me up early on a Saturday?

" God someone's pmsing," i could feel her rolling her eyes. " I just wanted to wake you up to get ready for today, since i'm such a good best friend," she said.
"Fine,fine. I'll get ready. Happy?" i mumbled. "Yes, very. Now go on, get ready byeee hoe!" she ended the call. I already packed my beach bag yesterday so i just had to brush my teeeth and get ready. I decided i was gonna wear a one-piece black swimsuit with a slit in the middle. On top of that i wore a white shirt with my jean shorts and some flip flops. To be honest, i was excited to spend some time with my best friend after a while at the beach and it has been a while since i got a tan. I probably look as white as paper.

It was 7.40 and i decided to prepare some breakfast and watch some tv shows. I prepared some oatmeal and chopped up some strawberries to put on top. I also poured myself a cup of orange juice and brought it back to the living room where my to was. I decided to watch spongebob cause that was the only thing that was good on tv at the moment.

Someone rang the bell when i was close to finishing my food. I checked out who it was and it was Justin. Oh my god. Justin at my door, a literal dream come true. My stomach did cartwheels.

" Hey- is that spongebob?" he noticed and started laughing clutching his stomach. " I-i didn't think you were the type to watch cartoons," he said wheezing.

" Shut up," i said my face turning red. "uh you wanna come in?" i asked opening the door for him to come in. He came in, sat on my couch and started eating my oatmeal. " Sure make yourself at home, no problem," i mumbled under my breath.

" Liam is coming here in a while with sapphire, so i'm bored you know. Unless you entertain me," he gave me a suggestive smirk. My face turned red  in embarrassment. I took my pillow beside me and threw it in his face. " Oh my god, you're impossible!" i said with frustration. He caught the pillow and tried throwing it at me. I ducked it and took the other pillow on the couch and started hitting him with it. He tried to grab it but i had a death grip on it. He pushed me on the couch and had me under him. He stared into my eyes and i stared into his. I noticed how his green eyes had brown flecks in them and i realised his face was coming closer to mine.

Holy shit.

"Hey guys-woah," sapphire stormed in  her mouth open and gaping. " This is not what it looks like," i said pushing Justin off of me. " We were having a pillow fight and then he-," i got cut off by sapphire. " Oh i get it you guys don't have to explain it. This is what happens when you leave two teenagers in a house," Sapphire says shaking her head. I internally smacked my head because Sapphire is being Sapphire.

" Let's go y'all. I bought like three packets of chips and like nachos and coke and a bunch of candies. I'm so excited i can't even," Sapphire rambles as i got my things and put the unfinished food in the microwave.

We got to the beach like twenty minutes later and i set up my beach towel and umbrella. I also helped sapphire set up hers. I took off my shirt and shorts and asked sapphire if she wants to go to take dip in the ocean. " Hell yeah shister, you guys wanna join ?" She asked the guys. The guys shrugged and agreed and also took off their muscle tees showing off their abs and just yUm.

" I think you should wipe that drool off before they notice," Sapphire whispered. My face turned pink as i smacked her arm playfully. " Shut the fuck up ," I laughed as i yelled,  " Last one to the sea is a wiener!"

I ran to the sea as fast as i could and i saw Liam over taking me.

Oh hell no.  I wasn't in track and field for nothing as i ran faster feeling the adrenaline in my blood and the sea smell filling my nose. I reached the Ocean first and i raised my fists up in the air in victory.

" That was cheating! You had a head start!" Sapphire said. " Stop being a sore loser, Saph," i stuck out my tongue at her. I felt someone wrapping their arms around my waist and throwing me over their shoulder. " PUT ME DOWN LIAM, IMMA FUCKIN KILL YOUR ASS," I yelled as i vigorously wriggled in his arms. He threw me in water and laughed. " Oh, You're going to regret you did that," i said giving him an evil smirk. I scooped up some sand and threw it at his chest, but i was aiming at his face. I laughed evilly as i splashed water all over him. He tried to grab me but i started running away from him but it was kind of hard since i was in the water. Liam caught up to me and spun me around. I squealed in surprise but he didn't do anything instead he stared into my eyes and what he did next surprised the fuck out of me.

He put his lips onto my lips and kissed me. My eyes widened in surprise as i pushed him away from me. Oh shit, I looked behind as i saw sapphire with her eyes widened. She had tears in her eyes and started running away from the sea to the toilet in the beach.

" Fuck, fuck,fuck," i said as i ran after her. "SAPPHIRE, c'mon honey talk to me,please, i'm sorry, it wasn't meant to happen.It was a mistake," i said tears coming out of my eyes. This was the first time sapphire got upset with me and it was all because of a guy.

" Go away, I don't want to talk to a snake," she sniffled. " Please..Sapphire believe me. I didn't kiss him," i begged her to believe me.

" How do you expect me to believe you? After all these years of guys not talking to you, one of the most hottest guys kissed you? That doesn't make sense at all," she said. I got angry and i was fuming mad. As a best friend i understand why she would be mad, but it doesn't mean she has to down grade me like that. That was a bitch move.

" Fine be like that, as a best friend you are supposed to trust me, but you are not trusting me. I'll give you some time to think this through. Text me when you are not a bitch," i said as i walked out.

"Yo, what happened," Liam asked. " Nothing," i said with my teeth gritted. I asked Justin if he could give me a ride home and he agreed. Liam looked so heartbroken but i couldn't care less, he broke her heart. How can i talk to him?

" Hey, is sapphire okay?" Justin asked me in the car. " She'll be fine, she just needs some time to herself," i said biting my lips anxiously, worried about sapphire. I asked justin if he could ask liam to bring sapphire home. So he gave me his phone cause he couldn't text and drive. Which made me feel like a total idiot. " Right, sorry," i said as i took his phone and surprisingly he didn't have a password. I looked at his contacts and he didn't have any emojis beside any contacts. I saw liam's name and quickly texted him.

The rest of the ride was awkward and quiet. He helped me bring my things  into my house and before he left he asked me a question, "Did you enjoy the kiss?"

I looked at him confused as to why he would ask that but i replied with no and his eyes sparkled at my answer which got my butterflies in my stomach exploding.
