Chapter 8

"You better cover that with some make up. I don't think you'll have a good excuse for Lena and Dan when they ask

You what happened." Joni said.

I nodded without saying a word.

"Are you okay?" Maxi asked. Lexi was there too but she was quiet. Maxi, Lexi and Joni walked up to me.

"Uhmm... Yeah, I'm okay. It's just... I never saw James like that."

"I know James for a long time and it is the first time that I noticed that he's like that. I know Halston, we used to talk a lot about unexpected things. She told me a few 'strange' things that James did. But none of them were like this one. I always knew James for the calm and nice guy." Lexi explained.

"Is it bad?" Maxi asked.

I shook my head. "No! That was... something kinda new. I can't say I didn't like it." A small smiled appeared on my lips.

"And now tell me why I expected that please." Joni giggled.

"Because you know me." I laughed. "I'll go and cover this up." I pointed to my neck. They nodded and I walked to the bedroom. I entered it and walked over to the table with my make up and a mirror on it.

I started to cover up the love bites as I saw James walking out of the bathroom in a black T-Shirt and jeans.

He walked over to me and kneeled down on the ground wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my left shoulder looking in my eyes through the mirror.

"I'm sorry Cat." He said in a sad voice.

"What? Why?" I turned my head to face him.

He kept looking at the mirror. "Because of what happened. I don't know what's wrong with me, I just can't control myself."

I faced the mirror and looked in his eyes through it. "James, don't worry. That's no problem." I said in a confortig voice. Then I blushed a little and smiled. "I actually liked to know that side of you."

"Really?" He asked shocked.

I nodded. "I felt loved as always. I always felt like you needed me when we did it. But what I felt yesterday left me absolutely no doubts about how much you need me. And how much I need YOU." I laid my head on his. I covered the two marks so that no one could notice them.

"I love you." He whispered with his grip tightening arroun me.

"I love you too." I said smiling.

We stayed there for a while. Then I dressed skinny jeans and a white T-Shirt and then went downstairs.

"What did it take you guys so long?" Logan asked wigling his eyesbrows.

"Nothing." I said. "The time for me to cover up something and to get dressed. James just stayed there to keep me some conpany."

"And we had to talk about the kids." James said meaning Lena and Dan.

"Ohh, okay." Logan answered.

The girls weren't really convinced about it but I know they wouldn't say anything about it.

The day went by really good. The girls and the guys stayed over for lunch and went home after it. We just had a family day. A really funny one.

*Three days later*

"Cat! C'mon we gotta go! The office's ginna close in one hour!" James shouted from downstairs.

"I'm comming!" I shouted back as I ran down the stairs. "I'm here. Let's go!" I ran out of the house and into the car. As I entered the car, put my seatbelt on and looked out of the window I saw James slowly walking to the car shaking his head looking at me and smiling. I stuck my tigue out at him and hear him laugh and I smile.
