The Maslow Relationship(Sequel to Thanks Fox)

Chapter 2

"And here we are again." I said as we sat down waiting for my gamily.

"I guess it's not the last time." James said.

"I know." I lay my head down on James shoulder.

"You know that from now on you gotta be way more carful when you're alone outside right?"

"Yes I know." I nooded. "But I'm still kind of afraid. The fans at the mall were really bice bit maybe there are a few that aren't so nice."

He lookes down at me with a serious look. "What have I told you?"

"The hate come from jealous people." I said.

"That's right." He nooded his head. "You just gotta ignore it."

"I'll do my best." I gave him a weak smile and kissed his cheek. I looked at the door seeing if I would see my dad or Sandra. "They're here." I smiled standing up. James grabbed my left hand, I had Fox's leash in my right one and we walked up to them.

"Caty!" Elena and Daniel shouted running up to me. James let go of my hand, I kneeled down so that I would be about the same height as them and opened my arms.

They ran into my arms and I hugged them tight. I felt James taking the leash oht of my hand. "I missed you guys so much!"

"We missed you too." Elena said.

"Yes we did." Daniel said as I chuckled.

They let got of me, I got up and went to hug Sandra. "Hey!" I hugged her.

"Hey!" She hugged me back. "I see you're fine."

"Yes I am." I smiled as I pulled out of the hug. My dad came up to me. "Hey daddy!" I hugged him.

"Hey sweetie." He hugged me back.

We pulled apart and I saw James kneeling down playing with Fox, Elena and Daniel. He was laughing with them and ignoring everything that was hapening around him focusing on just them. I stood there quiet watching him with a smile on my face.

"They are in good hands." Sandra woke me up from my trance. I looked at her confused. "I know that you and James are gonna take good care of them. You love them and James does too. I have no reasond to be prehocupied."

"I hope so." I nooded slightly.

"I know it is a big step for you but I know you're gonna do the right things." My dad said. I looked at him and smiled.

We walked up to James. "James?" I called him.

He looked up. "Oh, I'm sorry. I was distracted." He stood up, gave Sandra a hug and shook hands with my dad.

"Let's go home." I said happyly.

"Yaayyy!" Daniel cheered. I gighled and the grabbed his hand. Elena grabbed my other hand. James insisted to help again and carried Daniel's luggage. Elena was carrying her bag with her free hand.

We went to the car and then went home.

"Now, I'm gonna show you your rooms." I said looking at Elena and Daniel. James and I had moved to a new place. The house had a few more rooms than our old hause. Elena and Daniel would be able to have their own rooms and there would still be a guest room wich was nice.

"Are we gonna have separated rooms?" Elena asked with a sparkle in her eyes. She had to share her room with Daniel 'cause my dad's appartment just had two bed rooms.

"Yes you are." I smiled at her knowing how happy she is.

"YES!" She jumped in happyness.

I laughed. "Come on." I walked upstairs. James came as well. Sandra wanted to call her parents telling that everything was okay and my dad stayed there with her. James had told them were the rooms were so that they wouldn't have to search for too long.

"Elena. Welcome to your room."

I opened the door and she entered it. "OH MY GOD!!!" She squealed and started to jump up and down. "I love it!" She started to walk around seeing the things.(see media) James and I made sure to get the things that she likes. She's twelve but she likes the same things as a normal teenage girl. My dad says that is beacause she spent so much time with me while I still was in Portugal and she kinda 'grew up faster'. "You gotta be kidding me!" She pointed at the Mac that was on her desk.

"What?" I asked laughing.

"A Mac? Those are really expensive!"

"Hey Lena. Don't worry about that, if we got the things is because we can." I smiled at her. I understand her. The only computer that she had until today was a cheap one and now she has a Mac. I would react the same way if I was on the same situation as her.

She walked around watching everything. Daniel was watching the room as well. She was crazy about every electronic thing that was in the room. I decided to buy her an iPod as well 'cause she's addicted to music. She looked through the books that James and I got her, clothes ect.

James was leaning on the door frame and I was leaning on him. He had his arms around my waist and I had my head on his chest. We stood there like this watching her with smiles on our faces without saying a word.

"We are the parents not you two." I looked down the hall and saw my dad and Sandra. My dad said that.

I blushed. "Look! She's blushing!" Sandra said with exitement. She loves to embarass me. But we still live eachother as family.

"Shut up!" I his my face in James' chest.

I heard my dad laugh and then he and Sandra gasped at the same time.

"What is this?" Sandra asked shoked.

I looked at her smiling as James let gi if me. "Elena's room."

"It's amazing." My dad said.

"It isn't hard to get a room that she likes when we know her likes and dislikes." I said.

"She's right." Sandra said. "Even I am in live with the room."

I laughed. "Shall we see Daniel's room?"

"Yeeees!" Daniel said exited.

"Come here." James kneeled down with his back to Daniel.

Daniel imediately got what James wanted to do and jumped on his back. "Piggy back ride!" He said in even more exitement as James got up.

I put my arm around Elena as we walked to Daniel's room. "Did you like your room?" I smiled down at her.

"I loved it!" She gave me a wide smile. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." I bent down and kissed her head.

I didn't write about Daniel's room 'cause I wanna post a ouc as well but I couldn't do that in this chapter.
