Chapter 16

"James dude, calm down." Logan said.

"How do you want me to calm down. Cat's in there and I have no idea how she is!" I said in a loud voice and stood up.

"Calm down James, I'm sure she's okay." Lexi said.

"I need some coffee. I'll be right back." I walked out of the waiting room and to the nearest coffee mashine. I've been waitin for the doctor to tell me how Cat is for the last two hours and no one came to say how she is.

I took the coffe and walked back in the waiting room.

"Are you better now?" Carlos asked me.

I simply looked at him, sat down and sighed.

"I think that was a no." He said looking down.

At that very moment I saw a doctor walk in.

"Catherine salvatore's family?" He asked looking around the room.

I stood up the fastest I could and walked to him. "Here!"

The doctor looked at me as I approached him. "Catherine's in a coma now. She hit her head really hard. You saved her life, if you wouldn't react at that very moment and bring her here she could have died."

I was shocked with what I just heard. "Can I see her?" I asked in a low voice.

"You could see her in five minutes. A nurse will come by when you can visit her." The doctor said.

"Thank you." With that the doctor walked away. I sat down and waited for the nurse to come. Everybody went home besides Caros and Lexi.

"Are you from Catherine Salvare's family?" A young woman asked.

I looked at her. "Yes."

"You can see her now. I'll guide you to her room."

"Thank you." I stood up and followed her. I walked into Cat's room and was shocked by the view. She was laying on the bed, attached to some machines and 'sleeping'.

I sat down next to her and grabbed her hand.

"I'm so sorry Cat, this is all my fault." I lifted her hand to my lips and kissed it with tears escaping my eyes.

*2 days later*

Catherine's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and I was in a bif room, but this isn't my room. Where am I?

"Ouch!" I have a giant head ache. What happened?

As I put my hand in my head to try to ease the pain I noticed that I had something on it.

Wait! What's this? Oh god. No, no way. this can't be, I'm in the hospital!

"Cat!"

As I looked at the door I saw James.

"James!" I tried to speak normally but my throat felt dry and I only managed to whisper.

James walked up to me. "Oh god, I'm so happy your okay." He said hugging me gently.

"What happened?" I asked him as we pulled out of the hug.

James told me what happened and as he finnished the doctor entered the room.

"Miss Salvatore. I'm glad to see that you're awake." The doctor said. "Mr Maslow, would you mind to go outside for a moment. I gotta check if Miss Salvatore is okay."

"Okay. I'll be right back." James said, kissed my cheek and walked out of the room.

After the doctor checked if everything was okay he called James.

James sat next to me on the bed.

"Miss Salvatore, Mr Maslow. I'll have to tell you something."
