Chapter 19

*A few months later*

My dad and stepmother moved to a house near James and I and Em and Dan are now living with them.
I started work around 3 weeks after I went out of the hospital and everything went fine. Unfortunately I was always super tired and James as well because of work so we didn't do anything special for a long time.
The girls and the guys are okay and doing really well.
Lexi is living wirh Carlos, Maxi with Kendall and Joni with Logan.

Today is mine and James' day off so I'm siting in the couch drinking a hot chocolate and watching tv.

"What are you watching?" James asked as he sat down and put an arm around me.

"Nothing special." I shrugged and smiled.

"Big Bang Theory. Really Cat?" He laughed.

"Come on, you like it as well!" I slaped his chest playfully. I love being like this with him.

We watched television, talked and played the whole day.
After dinner we went a little outside and walked hand in hand enjoying eachothers presence.

"I'll go to sleep. Is it okay?" I asked James as we arrived home.

"Okay love. I'll just go get something to drink and I'll join you soon." He kissed my forehead and walked into the kitchen.

I walked upstairs, changed into my pyjama and then sat on the bed and turned the tv on. I started to click throught the channels looking for something interesting to watch but had no luck. Then, I started to think, I've been havin a strange feeling on my belly for a few weeks now. Like something is going to happen but I don't know what, hopefully it is something good. I told Lexi about it and she just looked at me and told me that it must be the stress at work. That's possible, I already had such strange feelings when I was stressed.

"I'm back" James walked into the room holding two cups.

"Am I seing marshmallows?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"Maaaybeeee." He chuckled and gave me my cup as he sat down on the bed.

I smeled the cup and could tell that it was hot chocolate. Yes, I love hot chocolate haha.
"Thank you honey." I said as I kissed him.

We decided to watch Maleficent. After we finished the hot chocolate we laid down and continued watching the movie. After a while I fell assleep.

*A few days later*
"I gotta go away for a few weeks" James looked me in the eyes.

"What?!" In that moment, my chest felt really heavy and started to hurt.

I know that the chapter is really little and kinda boring but I wanted to update sooo... better than nothing right?
And I'm so sorry that I haven't updated, my life changed a lot in the last few months and I had to have a fresh start at a now job.
But here is a little something for you :)
