Chapter 18

James grabed my hands and put them between his.
"Is something wrong?"

I looked back at him in the eyes.
"James, I wanna talk with you because of Carlos."

"Catherine, it's okay. I over reacted." He said and gave me a weak smile.

"No James it isn't." I looked down for a moment and then looken back at him. "I was acting like that with Carlos because I told him something."

"What then?" James asked anxious.

"James, I talked to him about being pregnant. I wanted to tell you but I was afraid of your reaction. I was afraid you would go away and leave me alone." Then I looked down at the floor. "The doctor told me in the hospital I wasn't pregnant." I looked at James and he had his mouth open. I was looking at a shocked James Maslow. 
"James, are you okay?"

"I... I was almost a father?" I said as he found his voice. "But, you were never pregnant? Or... did you lose the baby when you fell down the stairs?" He said worried.

"No no no" I said quickly to calm him down "I was never pregnant. I just had some simptoms but wasn't pregnant. I asked the doctor." I caressed his cheek. "I'm sorry James." I said as a tear rolled down my face.

"Ohh baby, don't cry please." He said as he hugged me. "No problem honey, everything's okay. Just tell me the next time baby. I will never let you go. I can't live without you." He looked at me and kissed me passionately.

We kissed until Fox started to bark. We broke appart and started to laugh.

"Should we head over to Carlos' place to pick up Em and Dan?" James asked me.

 "Yeah of course." I smiled and got up. I felt dizy and almost fell down.

James got up really fast and cought me. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked worried.

I looked up at him. "I'm okay thanks. Just got up a little too fast."

"Are you sure you don't wanna stay at home? They can come over."

"James." I smiled a little. "You know that I hate being at home. I'm feeling fine, really."

He looked at me suspiciously. "If you don't feel fine just tell me right away."

"Okay, I will." I smiled and kissed him.

We got ready and out of the house over to Carlos' place. We knocked at the door as we arrived.

Lexi opeed the door. "Thank god you're okay!" She hugged me hard.

"Ouch ouch ouch. Lexi not so hard, my body still hurts a little." I said as I hugged her but not so hard.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She said concerned.

"But I'm okay, thank you." I smiled at her. "Just have a little pain, but nothing that bad."

"Ohh good, come in." She led us in with a big smile.

"Hey Lexi" James said as he walked past her.

"Hey James, sorry for ignoring you" She said.

"I'm used to it." James said and the three of us laughed.

We walked into the livingroom and Carlos, Em and Dan were there.

"Cat!" Em and Dan shouted as they saw me and ran to me to hug me.

Oh god, they're huggung me so hard and I'm dying with pain right now. I closed my eyes and bit my lower lip to deal with the pain. I can't tell them they're hurting me. They'll feel bad and I don't want that.
"I missed you guys so much." I said as I hugged them back.
