That bad ass lil boy Kandice bought back with her kept me up all damn night with them loud toys. Aint he too old to be playing with toys anyways? Im not ready to confront Lawerence cuz I already know its gone be some bullshit, but you know I'll never turn down no free meal especially when its downtown at Bellagio's. Only the president and Beyonce can get in without a reservation so you're lucky if you get in at all. "Rosa" I called out waiting for a reply. "ROSA! ROSA get yo ass in here." "What you want heffa?" She said sauntering in looking like she going somewhere. "Heffa? I will drag yo.. you know what I'll let that slide for now. Help me find something to wear for dinner tonight now." I said getting pissed off. "Oh you must haven't heard the news lil bih" she said grinning. "What news??" " Well Lawrence set me up real good so I dont have to work for yo thot ass no more, im free bitch" she said throwing up the duece and walking out. I wanted to run after her and smash her face in but instead I slammed my door shut and sat back on my bed. Why df would Lawerence not want her to work here anymore, shit she been here 20 years. I cant stand the bitch but we basically grew up together. Something aint right here but I guess I'll find out tonight. I looked out the window and saw that black truck still parked outside in the next door driveway. "Hmph" I said going to my closet to find something to wear.

"Yes daddy right there, mmmm omg" Seriya screamed as I gave her some dirty backshots. "Yea baby, uh huh what's my name?" "Dammiieeenn, omg Damien." She said screaming louder. I was balls deep about to nut when I heard my phone singing a special song and I knew I had to answer. "Ughhh.... Wassup old man?" I said pulling out of Seriya and standing up to get dressed. " What time and where.... ight .... damn everybody coming?" This is going to be a fucking disaster. I thought to myself. "Okay imma bring a quarter with me and we'll smoke out.... ight later" I said hanging up. "Papi why you gotta leave so soon?" Seriya said pouting. "I know babe, but my dad invited everyone to this crazy ass dinner tonight. I know its gone be funny, you wanna come?" I said planting trails of kisses on her neck. "I wish I could come cuz you know I love some drama, but i have end of quarter tests next week and I have to study or imma fail." " Yea you right, well here's something for you when you get done studying and make sure you text me later." I said putting a 3.5 on the desk. "Okay see you later handsome." She said kissing me before I left out. The air was crisp and cold when I stepped outside. I got in the car and cut the heat on to let the car warm up, while I lit up a blunt. Why would dad call everybody to dinner? Is he making some type of announcement? Is he going to die or could this be good news? So many thoughts swirled around my brain a thousand times a minute, but I had to shake it off and mentally prepare myself for what I was about to walk into. I finished my blunt and sped off towards the highway not knowing what to expect at this dinner.

I finished tying my tie and gave myself one last look before I went to go round everybody up. You look sharp boy, now go kill 'em dead and put that respect back on ya name. I thought to myself. I walked to Shawn's room and knocked on the door. "Come in" Shawn called out over some music. "Wassup son, just came to let you know we'll be leaving in a few" I said closing the door behind me. "Really just cooling, I see that boy looking sharp there" he said in a country accent. "Well you know ya pops always had game" I said chuckling. "Sit down and have a smoke with ya boy" he said passing me the blunt. He motioned for me to sit next to him on his favorite couch. "You going soft on me boy? You never let anybody sit on this couch." I said hitting the blunt and nearly choking to death. "Slow down there buddy" he said patting my back. "This that pressure right here, but nah im not going soft its just been tough for me and D since you left. With us only being 16 it was hard for us to understand why you left, but as we grew up we soon realized that it was Topaz that drove you away. I also know about uncle Larry too" he said, his voice growing softer. I knew exactly what he was talking about but I was too shocked to say anything. Thinking of something to say, I sat there silent. "How did you find out?" I said quietly after a few minutes . "I was on my way to get something to drink when I heard yall arguing and before you know it, shit hit the fan." He said shrugging his shoulders. I was about to speak when he cut me off, "Dad you don't have to say anything, that nigga tried to stunt and play you so you did what you had to". "Yea you right son, I'm glad you understand. But who else knows?" I nodded in agreement. "Just bruh and thats it. But question, where  was Topaz at that night???" He looked confused. "She knew to get tf outta dodge or she would get fucked up too. I'll text you when im heading to the car and stuff, and son thanks for listening. I love you" I said before walking out and closing the door behind me. I passed by Kandice's room to see if she was ready but she wasn't there so I made my way down stairs to find her and Quan in the kitchen. "Big K, and wassup lil man" I said shooting Quan a high 5. "Hey dad you're very chipper this evening" she said hugging me. "I'm just glad to have all my kids together again, this family has been so torn ever since that night..." I said trailing off. "I know and that's why I'm here trying to do my part to make amends." Kandice said rubbing my arm. "Dad im going to let you read something and please promise you won't get too  pissed off." She said her voice getting shaky. "Alright well let me have it" I said taking the letter from her. I quickly scanned thru the letter. "Aww baby come here" I said hugging her tightly. "I know all about your mother's affair with this Brian Johnson nigga. Ceo of Fallah Chic one of the biggest fashion labels world wide. Topaz had been  fucking him when we first got married. I dont know why she couldn't put her hoe-ish past and ways behind her but I tried to love her until she eventually drove me away. I'm sorry that ya dog ass mama put you in a tough situation." I said kissing her forehead before letting her go. She looked away. "Its okay Kandice you don't have to be ashamed, your mother is to blame for this none of this is your fault" I said gently. "Thanks dad, let's go to this crazy ass dinner" Kandice said grabbing Quan's hand. "Okay let's go" I said  texting Shawn.
