"Alright yall have a good day now" I said waving to the new maids I hired. I had to fire the maids Topaz had hired over the years becuz they were lazy af. Then again Topaz was lazy so I wasn't suprised to find the house partly kept up. I got confirmation a few days ago from the The accountant that works for me, so I could hire 4 live in maids like I always had. It was cheaper that way anyways, and now that I kicked Topaz leeching ass out I'm one more step closer to having my family back. I miss Rosa so much. The last time I saw her had been the first time in 3 years and she was stunning. My son Adrian always came and saw me but she would never show up with him. I knew that I broke her heart the first year after I reconnected with Adrian and she wouldnt show. I would always ask him where his mother was and he would shrugg simply saying "she just didnt wanna come dad". Her sexy latina pride was what attracted me to her in the beginning, that fire and strong passion. Rosa was the best thing that ever happened to me but I threw it all away for Topaz smh. I've been trying to win Rosa back for 5 years but she's so stubborn she wont budge. I would give anything to have her by my side again. I sent a text to Adrian for him and Rosa to meet me at the mansion for dinner tonight in 1 hour. He text me back saying they would be there and that he would bring my favorite drink, Hennessey🍸 I took a shower and sprayed a lil cologne around my neck, hopefully the news I had to tell Rosa might get me some tonight. I was riding on a long shot but I was hopeful. I went upstairs and told Shawn, Dmoney, and Kandice to get ready for dinner in 30 minutes. After that I went downstairs to check on the master chef I had preparing our 4 course meal for the evening. "Everything smells exquisite chef Pierre, Keep up the good work" I said patting him on the back. We were having crispy artichoke hearts w/ hollandaise sauce, chef's special chopped salad, shrimp scampi and wild rice, with asparagus, and for dessert a thick slice of truffle cheesecake with caramel drizzle😍 All the floral arrangements were so beautiful, they had a mix of red and white roses. The roses adorned the dining room and the floor around the table. Im so glad God has blessed me to see another year and be with my kids. Im not going to waste this time I have with them or Rosa. Now that I have my house back next thing to do is to divorce Topaz, and take her name off all my accounts. The kids will be set for life and I'll finally be a happy man, I can't wait to see the look on Topaz's face when she gets them papers.

Dinner was going great we were all talking and laughing together, until someone started blowing my phone up with disgusting texts. "Everything alright baby? " dad asked me from across the table. I assumed he had saw the expression on my face filled with terror. "Yea everything is fine" I said smiling at him and looking back at my phone. It sounded like it could be Mark and my guess was probably right. He was saying he was gonna strangle me to death and then make love to my lifeless body, how sick. He also said that our fancy dinner looked real good and that he missed this pussy. I knew he was watching me then, and I felt chills run down my spine. I looked over and saw Quan playing with his toy but he looked sleepy. "Come on boo its time for bed" I said taking Quan's hand. "Well we had alot of fun but I need to get him to bed" I said saying my farewell to everyone. I went up stairs and gave Quan a bath and brushed his teeth. After I put his pj's on he immediately fell asleep. I sat next to him stroking his soft hair when I kept feeling the constant vibration of my phone. When I pulled it out I saw I had 5 texts from the unknown number, the last one read " Im sorry that shit I said wasn't nice baby just come outside so we can talk about this". I set my phone to pretext, my dad, Shawn and Dmoney if I dont come back inside to my room in 15 minutes. I know what Mark is capable of so I dont want to downplay any part of this situation. I slipped my switch blade inside my boot and headed outside. As soon as I stepped off the driveway a dark hooded figure approached me. "Hey baby" mark said hugging me. "Mark wtf do you want" I said pushing him off me. "You baby, why you left without telling me?" He questioned. "You're abusive, selfish....." He slid his hands around my neck and started squeezing. "You thought you were gonna get away huh? You're never leaving me Kandice" he said thru clenched teeth. Well bitch I guess this is the end of the road. God please watch over my baby and keep him safe in this crazy world. I started praying to myself as I felt his grip get tighter. I tried punching him in the face but he ate every hit. Just when i felt myself getting dizzy, I heard a loud gunshot and Mark fell to the floor. I was so out of it that I didnt even realize that Darius was helping me inside and up the steps. "Come on lay down babe everything is alright now" he said cutting on the light. "Darius???" I said shocked. Was Mark really choking me that long, like did he really kill that many brain cells? I must be hallucinating. "Yes baby it's really me" he said kissing my lips. Darius laid down next to Quan so that Quan was in the middle of us. Darius wrapped his arms around both of us and we soon drifted off to sleep.
