I finally finished planning Topaz's funeral with Seriya's help of course. I had tried calling the others to let them know, but the only one who returned my calls were Kandice. Despite her and my mom's issues, Kandice stepped up and helped me with the arrangements too. I was really proud of her for doing that cuz its nothing like having your family close by during tragic times. I stood up from sitting on the furry pink rug in my baby girl's room. I can't wait for her arrival cuz I already have everything set up, I'm excited as hell. I'm actually doing good for once in life. I graduate in May of next year, I'm getting married, and I have a child on the way. I been making sure I pray more and thank God everyday for what he has given me Cuz without him I would be nothing. Just as I was leaving out the room I almost collided head first with Seriya in the upstairs corrider. "Damn I'm sorry babe, you alright?" I said grabbing her waist. "No I'm sorry I wasn't even paying attention cuz I was all in my phone" she said still focusing on the screen intently. "Come in the room with me I need to talk to you about something" she called out in front of me. She put her phone down as I sat on the bed next to her. "Are you okay? I'm worried about you and how you're handling all this" she said massaging my shoulder. " I'm okay I guess, just can't believe things are moving so fast around me. You're due in 2 months, Topaz's funeral is this Saturday, and not to mention me and Shawn are still on the outs. Lots of our business ventures then the baby shower on Thursday.... and our wedding at the end of the year . Its just a lot going on. Imma be alright once Kyara gets here. Then our family will be complete finally . But how are you feeling?" I said taking a deep breath. "I know its a lot and can be overwhelming, but that's why you have me and that's why I have you. Marriages are tough but we will get thru this. I'm okay just taking each day one at a time" she said kissing my lips. I French kissed her back and ran my fingers thru her hair. "As long as I have my Queen and soon my princess by my side I can do anything. Our family is my main priority" I said lightly squeezing her hand. "I know baby and I'm so grateful to have you in my life" she said kissing me again. I sat her on top of me and caressed her back while I slipped my tongue down her throat. "No baby they said sex can help to induce labor" she said putting her hand on my chest."That's a good thing I thought?" "Well it is but I wanna wait until Kyara's date gets a lil closer, ya know for smooth sailing. But anyways your 2 girls are hungry af so where we going?" She looked dead at me with a serious face. I just busted out laughing saying "Come on bae I got you".

                       Malaysia

  "Thank you for everything today Steph, I know you had your hands full. Remind me tomorrow to give you a $15 raise. I'm gonna head out to the Johnson's housewarming event are you sure you don't wanna join me?" I said to my Decked Out & Co. assistant.  "Thank you so much Ms. Matthews, I'm blessed to have a great boss like you. & No I'm gonna go home and just hang with the kids tonight and pig out with snacks and movies lol" she said packing up papers. "Aww that sounds fun. I told you call me Malaysia, we've known each other almost 6 months so you've earned that right" I said walking behind her out the main entrance. I lowered the gate, and locked the doors following her to the parking lot. "Will you at least Come to my sister's baby shower on Thursday, you can bring the kids too" I pleaded with her. She thought for a moment then said " Of course I'll come, I would love to meet your fam". "Great I'll text you the details tomorrow, Ta-ta for now" I said waving while I drove to the main road. I stopped by the house to freshen up before going to the event. I wanted to move out and get my own place but Seriya and Dmoney insisted I stay since they loved having me and that there was plenty of room. I took a quick shower, fixed my makeup, and put my hair into a really cute bun. I put on a beautiful red 2 piece dress, because I didn't wanna be too sexy at client event. Gotta keep things clear and concise. Once I got to the event I greeted the hosts and moved about the bustling party to mingle around.  The party was more lit than I was expecting. They had a live band playing jazz and R&B, cirque du soleil dancers, and plenty of servers carrying tons of different Hors d'oeuvres. While I was getting another glass of champagne from a server I accidentally bumped into someone. "Omg I'm so sorry" I said apologizing to a fine piece of man in front of me. Some of my champagne had spilled on my dress and his tux. "Nah you're good, nice dress btw. Let me help you with that" he said grabbing a handkerchief off of a passing server. He lightly dabbed the cloth at the stain on my dress.  "Dabbing and not wiping, I see someone knows the tricks of the trade" I said chuckling. "I know a lil sum sum. Nice to meet you tho I'm Dereck but everybody calls me Slick" he said extending me his hand and flashing a pearly white grin. "I'm Malaysia nice to meet you too" I spoke  louder over the music.
