Superwhovengerlock

Bang!

Dean fired a perfect shot at this stranger's head, aimed right between the eyes. Unfortunately for him, it didn't hit him. He lowered his arm, eyes very confused. “What the...”

“Told you, guns won't work.” he smiled, leaning against thin air without falling. “Now then, where were we? Ah yes, something new. Are you game for that? Actually, you have no choice, but it's always nice to think so.”

Sam eyed Dean, raising his eyebrows, as if to ask if this guy was for real. “Okay there, let's just slow down a bit. Who are you?”

“Oh, my apologies. I'm the Doctor.” he said, smiling. “I'm here to help...oh, sorry, bad use of words. That little girl was quite the fight, but I don't think I can use 'help' again now...”

“Wait, you saw that?” Dean asked, his gun raised again. “And you didn't help?”

“Well of course not, you two had it handled. The way you trust each other to the point where your brother Sam isn't fazed by a your shot aimed two feet away from him, that's deep. And very, very strong. You guys obviously had it covered. Anymore questions?”

“Yea, I can think of several.” Dean said, his face recoiling a little as he saw his clothes. “Where did you shop? The thrift shop down the road?”

“Only have $20 in your pocket?” Sam asked, laughing a little.

“Sam, show some respect.” Dean said, pretending to be serious. “He was hunting.”

“Looking for a come up?”

“Look, I'm sure you think this is real awesome,” the Doctor interrupted, “but we really do have to go right now.”

The two brothers lost their smiles. “And why is that?” they asked in unison.

“You've got a planet to save!” the Doctor said excitedly, standing up and spreading his arms wide. “You're part of the plan to save the human race! From what, I haven't a clue! But you might be able to meet a few demons!”

Dean looked at Sam, and back at the Doctor. “Look, this sounds great and all, but how the hell can we trust you? You pop up out of nowhere, lean against nothing, deflect bullets, and all the meanwhile speaking like you're a part of the royal family.”

“Well, sorry, but I can't really help my accent.” he said, looking offended. “And as for the rest of it...” he patted something next to him, and a blue box appeared, saying 'Police Box' on the top. “This is my ship, the T.A.R.D.I.S. She has a force field around her that stops all shots fired. Well, for the most part.....anyways, that's why you couldn't shoot me, because I was inside her barrier. She also turns invisible.” he snapped, and the door opened. “Care to come inside?”

Sam looked at Dean and shrugged, walking over to the box.

“Sammy!” Dean said, raising his arms up in confusion. “What are you doing?”

“Looking at this police box, what do you think?” he walked up to it and gawked when he looked inside. “Dean, it's bigger on the inside!”

“I love when they say that!” the Doctor said, laughing as he pushed by Sam and walked in. “Well, don't be shy, come on in! She won't bite, I promise. Well, at least not like this, she won't.”

“Like this?” Dean asked, walking in behind Sam. He stopped in the doorway, looking around.

“Yes, like this. She was a human, once upon a time.....she was absolutely brilliant, mind you. She used to bite. She said 'it's like kissing, only there's a winner'.” he laughed. “That was a great time, wasn't it, ol' girl?” he asked quietly, rubbing the console. The T.A.R.D.I.S hummed, almost as if responding to him.

“Um....do you two need a room?” Dean asked, looking at him like he was crazy.

“Does he always act like that?” the Doctor asked, aiming the question at Sam.

“Um, yes, always.” he said, dodging the hit to the shoulder that Dean was trying to give him.

“Well, tell him that the nicer you are to me, to nicer she'll be to you. She has a very picky taste in people.”

“Well, I'm sure she'll cooperate with me.” Dean said, looking at the ceiling and flashing a smile, then stopped. “What am I doing? I'm smiling at the ceiling like she's alive. And now I'm calling it a she.”

“She doesn't like humans, so you have no shot at a date.” the Doctor said, busy at the console. “She's not like the other women you flirt with. And yes, she's alive. And yes, she's a she. So show a little respect.”

Dean turned to him. “How do you know about that?”

“I've had her since I was a child. Of course I know that.”

“No no, about me.”

“Yea, and before we came in,” Sam said, walking up next to his brother, “you said there might be demons. How do you know about that? Are you a hunter?”

“Hardly.” he said, frowning with distaste. “I don't arm myself with weapons and holy water. I know about them all, of course, but I don't hunt them.”

“Wait.” Sam looked at him, confused. “You know about the demons, and spirits, and everything else, and you don't do anything?”

“I never said I don't do anything.” the Doctor said, turning to them. “While you two are driving around in your car, I'm off saving the universe from species that find themselves to be superior over others.”

“Species?” Dean asked, looking even more confused than Sam. “Universe? You're talking like this is a space ship.”

“Hardly!” shouted the Doctor, offended. “T.A.R.D.I.S. Time And Relative Dimension In Space. She can go anywhere in the universe, whenever in the universe. Space ship,” he muttered, walking around the console.

“Wait, this is a time machine?” Sam asked, looking at Dean. “You mean this can go back in time to whenever you want?” Dean got the message, but the Doctor shook his head.

“Yes, but not wherever I want. There are fixed points in time, ones that can never be re-written. I can't bring back your mom, Sam. Sorry.”

“There we go again!” Dean shouted, pointing at the Doctor. “How do you know about our mom?”

“I've done my research. You two aren't that hard to find, you know. Pretty famous, actually.” he looked at the two of them. “In a different universe. You guys are fiction over there, but everyone knows about you. Every little fact there is to know. It didn't take much to find a fan and get them to explain it to me in extreme detail.”

Other universe?” Sam asked.

Famous?” Dean asked, smoothing his hair back.

“Yes, and yes. Now, if you don't mind, we have places to see and people to do...I mean that vice versa.”

“I don't.” Dean said. Sam punched him in the arm.

“If you two are done, we can finally get to business.” the Doctor said, walking over to a lever. He turned to them, smiling like a giddy child. “Ready to have some fun?”

“Nope.”

“Not really.”

“Then away we go.” he said, pulling it down with a laugh.
