Dawn broke out over the small town and a small silver haired girl walked through the hall ways. Other kids stopped playing and parted for the girl to walk past. Once again she cluched her stuffed rabbit closer to her chest.
Today she wore the same black dress but was on her way to the infirmary to re apply her bandages. She also wanted to check on that man that was injured from last night. She knew that Natsumi-san would be able to tend to his wounds but she didn't want anymore death to occur around her.
As she entered the pale white room she looked around to see the man asleep, breathing more sleadily than the earlier night. She was glad that he didn't die.

"That was a nice song, Mei is it?"
The sudden voice made the girl jump and drop the bandage wrap that she had been holding. She turned around to see the man that she had saved awake in his smiling at her through his mask. She nodded in responce to his question.
"Thank you for saving me. My name's Kakashi Hatake. Is this place an orphanage?" Mei once again nodded, not wanting to talk again.
''Can you talk?" She nodded. ''Will you?'' This time she shook her head. She only spoke last night because she didn't want another soul to die. It was different now because he was alive.
"I asked that lady, Natsumi about you last night. She said that you're from a clan that used their voices as weapons but that clan has now been annihalated. She says that you're the only one left"
She nodded. It was all correct that her clan had all been killed but she didn't like it when people would constantly mention it.
''How old are you now? I think that the massacre happened three years ago now'' Mei held up eight fingers to show old she was. He nodded at the girl to show that he was listening and started asking questions again.
''Why do the other children here not talk to you. Natsumi said something about people bulling you and that he have to wear those bandages to hide the cuts that they made''
Her eyes widened in shock. She didn't think that Natsumi-san had found out about it. And he gave her a question that forced her to talk. She gulped and opened her mouth to talk.
''They say that i'm cursed and they think that if they bully me then i'll disappear'' Her voice was quiet and scartchy from not being used in a while. She didn't know why but she didn't mind talking to Kakashi. Something just told her that it was safe.
''If that's the case, then why don't you come back to konohagakure with me. I'm sure that the hokage will be happy to hear that there's still a Ongaku in the world. If you come then you can stay with me''
Kakashi finished with a closed eye smile. She just stared at the silvef haired man in shock. He was actually willing to take her with him and awa from this place. She could finally be free. And she could have someone to care about again. Mei didn't are if he jusf saw her a tool for power. All she wanted was to be accepted and if she said yes then that's exactly what she could get.
Mei nodded her head slowly while a closed eye smile was set upon her face. She cluched her stuffed bunny to her chest and said three words. Almost inaudiable but Kakashi could still hear them.
