Lost in your voice

Chapter 11

Mei's POV

As Kakashi-san said start, me Sasuke and pinkie jumped into bushes but Naruto-san stayed to face dad.

He kept talking until dad pulled out his book. I should have burned it when I had the chance. Fuck.

I couldn't really hear the whole conversation from where i was but i think he was insulting my dad's hair. How fucking dare you. His hair isn't weird. It's fucking awesome. I mean, who wouldn't want gravity defying hair. 

The fight went on for a little while longer so i tuned it out until i heard pinkie shout. Idiot. She's not supposed to reveal her position.

I looked over to where she screamed and saw a sight that would forever be burned into my mind.

''1000 YEARS OF PAIN'' As Kakashi-san performed the hand technique thing i had to cover my mouth so my laughter wouldn't be heard. That has to be the second best thing I've seen. Second to the NaruSasu moment. Yes i'm shipping them. Who wouldn't after that kiss?

After a while passed, Naruto was hanging upside down from a tree and I think I heard the banshee screaming. I'm so glad she wasn't in my clan or her voice would probably leave me deaf. But then again, she would have been slaughted brutally by the snake so maybe not such a bad idea.

I would help ramen boy but I have a feeling that he would want to do it on his own. Plus I forgot my notebook at home when I was thinking of ideas to destroy that  book. I might as well look for my duck butt haired best friend.

He's either gonna say yes to teaming up or say 'Hn, I'll get the bells for both of us'  Please don't be stupid Sasuke-san.

After a while I finally found him. In the ground. With only his head showing. I had to bite the bottom of my lip to stop myself from laughing.

''You need some help Sasuke-san?'' I asked him in a taunting tone.

He looked away with a faint pink blush and mumbled incoherent words. ''What was that? I didn't hear you''

''I said-''

The poor bodiless guy was cut off by a loud shrill scream. ''ARHHHHHHHH!! SASUKE-KUN'' I looked over to see a pink thing on the ground. Oh. Out of date cotton candy. Ew.

''Where were we? Oh yeah, what did you say?''

''YES GOD DAMN I NEED HELP'' Right. I poured chakra into my fist and stepped back a little.

''Now, this won't hurt'' He sighed in relief. ''much'' He paled and started shaking his head before I punched the ground making it spit and him falling in the air ready to crash. Did i help him before he fell. Of course not. That's way to much effort wasted.

"Wanna work together? To get the bells?" I asked him. He seemed to be thinking it over like pros and cons.

Pro- i'm strong
Con- Kakashi-san knows most of my moves
Pro- i have Haru-chan
Con- Haru-chan won't do shit unless it's actually important

"Sure. I'll distract him while you find a way to get the bells" I nodded and used my sensory to find papa.

"He's over by the memorial stone. Just finshed tieing up ramen boy to a stump. We have about ten minutes left" He nodded and we headed towards the area.

I hid in the bushes while Sasuke-san went up to confront Kakashi again. Naruto-san was just struggling against the ropes he was bound in. I should proably help him. But then i'd give my position away.

''Fire style: fire ball jutsu" i heard Sasuke-san yell. Kakashi jumped out of the way only to have to dodge a bunch of kunai that were hidden in the flames. Sasuke-san was panting now. Almost out of chakra from him not being able to fully control it yet. Since papa was distracted i took the oppotunity to throw a couple senbon needles at his belt.
