Lost in your voice

Chapter 8

Mei's POV

It was the graduation exam today. Iruka sensei said that we had to preform the clone jutsu to be able to pass. That guarantees me and Sasuke-san to pass since we already mastered this jutsu a while ago. Dad taught me how to do the clone jutsu just in case i was in danger and had to quickly get away.

I was more interested on who was going to be in whose teams. Dad was a squad leader. None of his students ever passed his test though so he has never had to be a sensei yet. Gai-san also had a squad.

His three students were okay but i was only really friends with one of them. First there was Lee-san. When we first met, he jumped out of nowhere and tried punching me. I moved and he face planted. But he got up and asked me to his 'eternal rival'. Then there is Neji-san. I personally think that he's a douche. And a bastard. And should really die a painful death like getting speared to the back trying to protect someone who had enough time to move out of the way. (spoilers) I'm only really friends with Ten ten. She's nice and uses murderous weapons.

After a while sensei arrived and explained the test. From the corner of my eye i could see Naruto-san panicking. I guess he's not good at the clone jutsu. Maybe Kurama (nine tail's) will help him out. He's actually quite nice once you get to know him. Haru-chan once went to visit him in his cage since they were old friends and took me. Me and Kurama are really good friends now. I hope he doesn't give Naruto-san a hard time though. I mean he doesn't even know that he has Kurama inside of him.

Once my name was called by sensei, Sasuke-san gave me a small smile as a good luck as i picked up Haru-chan.

''I bet mute will fail''

''Yeah, she's pretty much useless''

''She never takes part in the lessons''

Wow. These fuckers are literally describing themselves right now. Seriously. I ain't no fucking mirror. Get it right.

''Alright Mei, just make three clones and you can pass''

I nodded and did the correct hand signs. Three clones appeared next to me all holding their own version of Haru-chan.

''Congratulations Mei. You can come pick a headband.'' I walked up to their desk and picked a black coloured headband for myself and a red one for Haru-chan. He asked me earlier to get him a headband so i did. He also said to beware of 'that creepy fucker' Mizuki. Haru didn't like the aura he gave off. Neither did i. I was a sensory type after all.

As i got outside i walked over to Sasuke-san passed all the parents congratulating their children. They don't know how lucky they are to have parents with them. To have a parents love and comfort instead of loneliness. Sure i have Kakashi-san but he isn't my real father and is usually on missions.

As the thought of parents crossed my mind i unconsciously hugged Haru-chan closer to my chest and looked down to avoid crying. The fan girls would only bother me if they saw me crying.

Since i wasn't looking where i was going i bumped into someone. Stupid fucker getting in my way when i'm reminiscing. I'll kill this person.

Oh wait. Never mind it's Sasuke-san. And he caught me before i fell.

''You alright? Your eyes are watering'' My eyes widened and i went to dry my eyes. I looked around to make sure nobody would hear if i talked and hugged Haru-chan more.

''Everyone is here with their parents'' I said low enough for only Sasuke-san to hear. His eyes widened in recognition but then darkened slightly. I guess he's remembering his clan.

''Come on, wanna go to the lake. You said your guardian is still on a mission so you can stay over mine if you want'' I smiled and nodded. I bet he just wanted me to make him dinner tonight. Something with tomatoes for him and sushi for me. Love that stuff.
