Yoongi was standing in the middle of the shop feeling very out of place. He adjusted the bags on his arms as Hyejin and Namjoon made their way to the reading corner. He sighed and looked around, his eyes falling on the man who'd made his way over to some shelves. Yoongi's eyes narrowed and he looked back at Namjoon and Hyejin. He had heard the man's question to Hyejin and was immediately offended by it but he managed to calm down.

He walked over to a small reading corner and set his bags down in the chair. Stuffing his hands into his pockets he slowly sauntered around the shop, slowly making his way over to the man. He stopped at the shelf the man was working on and touched one of the books gently. He gave the man a long side eye and then sighed.

"What was your name again?"

Jinyoung eyed the small man next to him with caution.  "Jinyoung."

"Just Jinyoung?  Are you an orphan?"

Jinyoung laughed bitterly.  "No."

"You didn't offer up your family name so," shrugged Yoongi.  He noticed Jinyoung's eyes kept drifting over to the couple in the corner and that irritated him.

"So you work here," he asked, pulling a random book off the shelf and then quickly checking title.  He had learned his lesson when it came to random books.

"Temporarily."  Jinyoung's voice became a little tighter.  He was annoyed with the man beside him.  He couldn't focus on what the two in the corner were discussing.  That Namjoon fellow was constantly interrupting him and he had been unable to get an answer from Hyejin.

"Good," said Yoongi, thumbing through the book in his hands that was apparently about the finer points of cement.

"Excuse me," asked Jinyoung, feeling himself getting more irritated by the second.

"Nothing," smiled Yoongi.

"Planning on making something out of cement," snickered Jinyoung, nodding towards the book in Yoongi's hands.

"Maybe," smiled Yoongi in return.  "I hear cement shoes are nice.  What's your shoe size anyway," he asked, giving Jinyoung's feet a thorough once over.

Jinyoung blinked rapidly and he cleared his throat.  "Is that a veiled threat of some sort?"

"Veiled?  I thought it was quite open and plain."  He slid the book back onto the shelf.  "I never veil anything."  He turned to walk away but stopped short and turned back around, snatching the book off the shelf.  "On second thought, I think I'll take this one with me."  He grinned at Jinyoung, tapping the book on his palm.  He turned to walk away but Jinyoung's voice reached his ears.

"What's your deal?"

"My deal?  I'm just trying to help out a friend.  What's your deal?  What's your agenda?  Look, don't even think of pushing that date issue.  Not sure if you realize it, but she's too good for you."  Yoongi looked Jinyoung over once again, purposely making his eyes linger on the man's feet and then walked away.

Jinyoung shook his head and turned his eyes back to the couple.  Hyejin looked completely drawn in and interested.  He had never been able to garner such attention from her.  He observed Namjoon and his expression darkened.  He needed to do some research after work.

"Why aren't you at home resting," asked a concerned Hyejin.  Her eyes roamed Namjoon's face and body looking for any hint of pain or exhaustion.

Namjoon felt a bit embarrassed under her scrutinizing gaze.  "I'm doing okay.  I'll rest when I'm dead."

"Are you trying to rush that event?"  Hyejin grinned at him and sat back in her seat.
