Hyejin woke to a note laying on a book on the table next to her bed.  She reached over and picked up the small envelope, sliding the note out of it.

"Good morning, Beautiful,

I had an errand to run.  I'll be back soon.  Read a few chapters and rest till I return.  Also, by all means, eat something.   ^^

Namjoon"

Hyejin smiled and laid the note on her lap.  The sun had gone down and it was now dark outside.  The lights from nearby buildings kept it from being too dark, however.  She picked up the book and leafed through it.  It was a love story about a soldier who had gone away to war and the woman he bad loved.  It was a classic tale and an easy read.

She settled into her bed and began with the first chapter, completely losing herself in a brand new world for a while.  She had actually made it through several chapters before Nurse Jung entered the room.

"I was hoping you were awake!" The older woman carried in a tray with different dishes on it.  "I brought your something to eat, but if it's not acceptable, I'll make sure to get something else." She winked slyly at Hyejin and set the tray on the small table.   "Ahh, I see you're reading a book.  Is it interesting?"

"Yes, it is.  It's a love story," smiled Hyejin, closing the book gently and laying it next to her on the bed.

"Forgive an old lady for prying into your business, but it seems you might be living out your own love story? Hm?"  She smiled and began removing the lids of the dishes.

Hyejin blushed deeply and ducked her head.  "I don't know about that," she mumbled.

"Sweetie, that young man didn't leave this room till just a little while ago.  He stayed right there is that chair."   She pointed to the chair on the other side of the bed.  "Every time I would come in to see if you were still sleeping, his eyes never left your face.  I think he might have a little flame for you."

"Me?  Well, I mean...he did say he likes me."  Hyejin tried to avoid getting re involved in the conversation by sticking a big spoon of rice into her mouth.

"How about you?  Do you like him?"  Nurse Jung sat down in the chair and smiled at her uneasy patient.

"Maybe," mumbled Hyejin around the food in her mouth.

"Again, forgive me for meddling, but I know the job this young man has.  It took a lot of guts for him to stay here.  His risk of exposure is high right now.  He cares about you deeply to put himself at risk like that. Make sure of your feelings lest you cause him some unnecessary trouble.  Alright?  But I think you already have a more indepth answer in your heart, I just think you don't want to admit it," chuckled the elderly nurse.

Hyejin couldn't stop the smile that spread across her face.  The nurse was right.  Hyejin's feelings for Namjoon were indeed growing bigger.  She wasn't ashamed to ask him to stay with her earlier.  It was true she had wanted to see him first before anyone else when she woke up.  Maybe her feelings were more than "like" by now.

Nurse Jung watched her patient's mind work and she smiled to herself.  "Ah, well, I have some things to attend to.  You're my only patient so don't hesitate to call me, alright?"

"Your only patient," said Hyejin in disbelief.  "In a hospital this size I'm you're only patient?"

Nurse Jung smiled smugly and nodded.  "One of my former patients thinks I'm a private nurse or something.  But he pays well," she shrugged with a giggle.  "Call me.  I'll be right here."  She patted Hyejin's shoulder gently and left the girl alone with her thoughts.
