⚠️ WARNING⚠️:

This is warning for you who are squeamish or sensitive to blood or trauma. If this bothers you in any way, please, don't read. I'll alert you to when the bad part is over. (which isn't for another chapter or two...so read at your own risk. When I first posted this chapter I made a lot of readers cry, so that's why I am posting this warning. My apologies for anyone I upset.)

Yoongi sighed and looked around the scene.  Their van had been a bit back from the first van.   Their driver was puzzled why the first van had picked up speed and gotten so far ahead.  He was disturbed by the erratic driving that was going on.  When they came up to a red light, everyone in the back van shouted in horror as they watched the van get clipped by a semi truck, causing it to swerve and because it was going at such a high speed, it flipped over several times.  They saw a body being thrown from the van and everyone was desperate to get out and get to their friends.

The distance between the two vans had allowed other cars to get between them and so when everyone had to stop for the accident, it made it difficult for the rest of BTS to get to their friends.

"That-" growled the manager, jumping out of his seat while dialing the emergency number.  "Stay in here!" he shouted back to the boys, knowing full well they wouldn't listen.

"Hyung, we have to get out there," groaned Jungkook, his voice trembling.

Yoongi swallowed hard and with eyes glued to the scene that was becoming more gruesome looking as the sun rose higher in the sky. No longer deliberating what their actions should be, the three men clambered out of the van and ran to the scene, Jungkook beating them there.  They saw Jin trying to make a call and he looked a bit confused.

"Hyung, are you okay," asked J-Hope quickly.

"I-I don't know what happened.  We were all asleep I think.  It just...it just happened so fast."

"Go help Manager-nim keep the people away.  He's called the emergency number so someone should be here soon."  J-Hope looked around and froze.  "Oh no..." he rushed over to the side of the van and saw Jimin crumpled onto the pavement.  He was hanging from his seatbelt, his head laying on its side on the concrete, arms hanging loosely.  J-Hope wasn't sure if he should try to get him loose or let the medics do it.  He crouched down and tried to talk Jimin into waking up.  The boy was clearly not conscious.  A trickle of blood ran down his arm and also down his forehead.  A small pool had formed under his face and J-Hope was scared to find out where it was coming from.

Jungkook watched his hyung tend to Jimin for just a moment before he saw Taehyung, unable to sit still as he sobbed.  Jungkook's heart broke and he rushed over, grabbing the boy into his arms and holding him tightly.  He saw Yoongi kneeling next to Namjoon.  It looked like Taehyung had drug the leader out of the van, through the busted windshield.  He closed his eyes tightly and held the sobbing Taehyung.  "Hyung, just be still.  Be still," he said, helping hold the hoodie sleeve on the gash that was on Taehyung's scalp.

Glass was everywhere and people were talking, some spectating, others trying to offer help.  He heard cameras clicking and it angered him that someone would try to benefit from such a tragedy.  He rocked Taehyung back and forth slowly till the boy stopped moving and lay in his arms, vacant eyes staring at the wrecked van.

Yoongi looked down at Namjoon who had passed out.  He sighed and hung his head, his arms resting on his knees.  He growled and clenched his fists together.  He looked to his left and saw the body... or rather bodies ...of their manager.  He had been thrown from the vehicle and hit a metal street sign.  Yoongi felt bile fill his throat and he struggled to not vomit.  For a moment Yoongi was angered that the man wouldn't have to pay for this damage done to his brothers.  Then his anger softened because what good would it do to be angry with a dead man?
