I start blabbering about what happened to me in less than an hour.

I looked over at Kendall, he seemed uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry" I say laughing at my pathetic situation.

"It's alright." He tries to comfort me but not sure how. "You can stay at my place while you're here?"

"I though you didn't live here?" I wipe my nose that must be red by now.

"It's a long story." He says getting up and puts his hand out, another kind gesture he made. "Come on let's get going."

"I've got time for your long story."

He gives me an annoying look when the words come out of my mouth.

"What it's not like we've got anything else to do?" I say getting into his sleek black car. He ignores me for the rest of the ride to his place.

The car stops in front of brick building and turns into the black hole filled with other vehicles.

I half expect Kendall to open my door when he parks the car, but I get out not wanting to look like a fool if he didn't.

I followed behind Kendall into the lift to his apartment on the 4th floor with a green door.

There was a kitchen to the right of my entrance with a small round table in front of it. The rest of the area was the living room a flat screen planted on the middle section of the wall with a door on the left and a little hallway section with two doors on the right. A wooden coffee table with cup stains and a worn out leather couch in a line. On the left side of the room was a door which lead to the balcony I guess.

"Um that's the kitchen, living room." Kendall days pointing out the obvious.

"You can stay in the spare room." He leads me to the door on the left which is a small but spacious room, a double sized bed placed agains the far right wall with a window on top of it.

"This is the closet." He points to the door on the left. "And this is the bathroom." he says sliding the door opposite the foot of the bed.

"Ah just remember that the other sliding door leads to my room stay out of there, and that door goes to the front room. Just lock both doors if you're in here." I nod at everything he says.

"Thank you for everything." I place my handbag on the bed.

"No problem." He awkwardly replies.

The two of us stand in the small in room in silence which is it interrupted with the sound of my stomach rumbling.

I couldn't help laughing, Kendall joins in as well.

"I'll order a pizza. Any special request?" he stands halfway out the door.

"No, just call me when it's here. I'll have to call home first."

"Sure thing." He leaves the room closing the door behind him.

I sit on the edge of the bed and grab my phone.

After telling my mother everything I lay down on the bed trying to get comfortable. I start to doze of when there's a soft knock on the door.

"Rebecca?" Kendall's voice on the other side of the wall.

"Yeah coming!" I join Kendall in the living room and start munching away on the pizza. I was hungrier that I thought I was.

"What?" I catch Kendall staring at me while I sallow the last piece of the pizza. "Never seen a girl eat pizza?"

"I have, but not the way like you."

"Sorry." I say blushing. I am a girl who has been raised to have table manners and eat in a 'proper manner'.

"Don't be sorry for who you are." Kendall says looking at me before he turns his attention to the TV.

I stare at him in awe at his wise words.

"What?" He catches my glare. "Never heard a guy say wise words?" Kendall says mocking me.
