Rebecca's P.O.V

"Are you hurt?" I shift my gaze to Logan from the slamming door after Kendall exited.

"Yeah I'm good." We take a seat on the sofa.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what's wrong with him." I look down at my hands.

"Don't be. And it's no big deal."

"He attacked you! how is it not a big deal?"

"He may have some anger issues but he's a good kid at heart." Their friendship must be more to what meets the eye.

Our attention moves to the ringing phone on the table in front of us.

"It's Zayn." I see the caller ID.

"I'll leave you to it. Bye." Logan gets up.

"Hello?" I answer the phone after waving goodbye to Logan.

"Hi yeah what's your new places address again?" Zayn asks from the other end.

"Why?"

Kendall's P.O.V

"Hey," Logan joins me on the balcony of my apartment.

I look for words to say I'm sorry but I can't.

"It's alright." Logan takes a seat next to me before I could say anything.

"Is Rebecca the same girl..?"

I nod before Logan finishes his sentence.

Logan was there for me when no one was. When I had nothing in this unknown city. He took me in, he's done so much for me and I'll always be grateful.

"I'll stay away from me her. Alright?" He tries to look at me.

"No, you don't have to. I over reacted." I finally look up at him. "Are we good?"

Logan nods. "Come on let's go." He pats my back and gets up.

Without saying a word I follow him out of the building and into his car.

Instead of meeting up at Spencer's place we meet up at the regular restaurant bar.

"Where's the rest?" Logan asks James.

"There they are." James points to the three people walking towards us.

My eyes stop at Rebecca who was around some guys arm.

"Oh who's the guy Rebecca?" Dustin's ask in a teasing voice.

"You must be Zayn. I'm Logan." The two shake hands and they take a seat.

"So you're Rebecca's boyfriend." Alexa says more of a statement than a question.

"Yes I'm the one." He intwines his hands with hers and leans forward to kiss her cheek. Get a room.

I play with a plastic straw while the new guy goes on about his life. Earning a few scoffs from me now and then.

"So Kendall when did you move here from Kansas." I drop the straw and look up at him.

"What are we ordering?" Logan changes the subject before I could say anything. Typical of him always being there.

The night doesn't seem to end with the endless conversation about useless shit.

"So when did you have your first kiss?" Alexa asks being the nosey bitch she is.

"Yeah what was it like Rebecca? I'm sure you're a good kisser. Right Logan." My brain tries to catch up with my mouth.

Zayn looks at Rebecca, then at Logan and me.

"Relax I'm kidding." I say not wanting things to get worse.

The faggot goes into detail about their first date. I think I zoned out once he started talking.

"Oh we should go now." Zayn looks at his large wrist watch. Finally.

Rebecca's P.O.V

"What was that about?" Zayn asks me as we enter the flat after a long silent ride back..

"What was what about?"

"You.. Logan and the other guy."

"Nothing." I simply say. Even though the air between us was pretty thick but nothing was going on. Well that's I thought.

"Alright." He takes a seat. "You know it's not a good idea to keep things from me. It would be the best for the both of us if we don't keep anything from each other."

"Hmm I wonder why you didn't think of that earlier when you were stripping in front of some girl." I say a bit loudly.

"I wasn't stripping for goodness sakes!"

"You were about to!" I stand up.

"Let it go would yah. That was in the last I thought we moved on." He plays with his charms.

"I'm sorry but that's something that can't be forgotten!" I still don't know who the girl was all I saw was her blond hair.

"You know what I don't think this will work."

"Why not? it can work if we try."

"No Zayn. Stop ignoring the reality. There is nothing left between us. The spark is gone and we don't feel the same way about each other."

He doesn't say anything and looks at his shoes.

"So it's really over then?" His looks up and his eyes glister in the light.

"I'm sure you don't have the same feelings you did for me a year ago."

"You're right." He moves closer and places his hand on my left cheek.

"All the best for you're future." He says in his admiring way. "Goodbye." He places a soft peck on my other cheek and leaves.

Even though this was something that needed to be done I still felt heart broken. The guy that I spent most of my life with is now gone.

The emptiness crept on me while I shoved a bag of potato crisp down my throat while watching some pointless show.

I grab my phone and start to dial.

My voice barely a squeak. "Hello.."
